the announcers are talking about the plate blocking rule, but the guy was safe with ease and plate blocking did not play a part.

Basically gave the entire history of the Cubs' misery. I guess you have to play to your audience, most of whom probably doesn't even know there is a National League. You are ridiculous.

These guys have been sympathetic and positive on the Cubs rebuild strategy. I haven't heard every word, but no idea where you'd "lose respect".

That's funny! I will say this though, I have been to road games in both Nashville and Atlanta, and some Hawks fans decided to cheer. I along with most others did not out of respect for the home crowd as it was not the UC. Down south especially they feel its disrepectful They are more upset that they raise the wrong flag.
