  1. I agree. Completely uncalled for. And when most teams go stupid its when they are either trying to establish a tone in a game/series or when they are losing big and trying to goon it up. The Hawks took the damn lead in a critical playoff game and the preceded to goon it up. WTH? Q asked for this stuff.
  2. Good job seabs. Although Q was the one who called for more dirty play.
  3. I disagree Backes was low. You are incredibly wrong.
  4. Either too firey or too lazy
  5. The lesson is you don't lower yourself to a tough team, just play your game. It works
  6. I wonder if these morons are going to stop trying to be tough and start playing hockey.
  7. I wonder what contributes to your curiosity about this. I'm not sure why anybody would care, aside from a best writer looking for an easy story.
  8. I was all excited for a new JH post but a 4 day old article I had forwarded to me by every half assed Yankees fan is disappointing to say the least.
  9. On the plus side all our starters should have fresh arms to type.
  10. Pirates are all in, acquire Ike Davis. For Zach Thornton and PTBNL.
  11. Are you happy now steroid prohibitionists!?!?!?!?!?!?!
  12. It is days like this that I remember how much I miss Aramis Ramirez.
  13. silly Shark, giving up a run in a baseball game.
  14. If he was such a good athlete he would learn to hit himself.
  15. I do not think the A hitter is "naturally" patient. He has to learn to be patient somewhere along the way. I don't think you can necessarily teach a 22 year impatient hitter to become patient, but you can make progress at the margin. And you can affect how a teenager approaches the plate. But teaching it is a separate discussion from whether its value is overstated.
