Nailed it Meh. I hated Dusty, but I'm over it. He won 6 playoff games with the Cubs--more than the rest of the managers since 1945 COMBINED. And, let's be honest, Wood and Prior probably get hurt with or without his pushing, especially Wood who was hurt before and hurt after. Besides facing Mike Lowell over Lenny Harris, not visiting Prior on the mound, and forcing LaTroy Hawkins to close (which was a Hendry failure as much as Dusty), he really wasn't that bad. ABSURD Dusty never won a game. Hendry put together a pretty good ballclub and handed the keys to the worst possible manager. It was a disaster that was bound to happen.
