  1. People continue to act like 2015 will be bad as Summer 2010. This article makes it seem worse than it is. The entire 3rd pairing? Plus Bickell or Shaw? Those guys are the third line. Why mention them twice to get a point across? by the way, what article is being referenced? That is only a link to the general hockey page on sportsnet.ca, I do not see anything about blackhawks upheaval.
  2. Wanting to build through the draft and then being upset with the coach when you trade a pick for a vet and the vet doesn't play seems petty.
  3. enough of this talk my kraut mick friends, back to wrigley pics, now with bleachers:
  4. I shifted to NFL Network a few years ago but have shifted away from watching it at all with the silly prime time airing.
  5. according to rapsheet Chip Kelly is coaching the Browns.
  6. Yes, that is called relief pitchers and it's not just the past 10 years or so.
  7. Can we force him out over this? Might need to offer him a Brazil nut first.
  8. I make no apologies for quoting Ferris Bueller. 50% of my communication ability is quoting [expletive] from the 80s and 90s.
  9. Isms in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself.
  10. I meant not helpful in terms of his pain in the assness. He goes to the press with complaints, he causes fights. I specifically acknowledged that he was pretty good on the field, but not good enough to justify being a pain in the ass.
  11. How much of a pain is he really being? Withholding from voluntary programs for a new contract. That's not worth running him out for. Though, they just have him "on the block" so we'll see how motivated they are to move him. I'm not really considering the holdout. The dude was not helpful last year.
  12. hahahaha this is amazing they should get some custom fog machines and [expletive] in the new clubhouse I wonder who is the best dancer. Ross I, too, was trying to think of the big dopey white guy but for some reason his name was escaping me.
  13. I would not miss Bennett. He's pretty good, but he's not nearly good enough to justify being a pain in the ass.
  14. Can you explain to me what you mean by all of this? I think the gist of it is that it is ridiculous to slot in "this year's 7th pick" in the 2017 starting rotation, because: A) The Cubs have been passing on pitchers early in the draft and more importantly, B) Slotting in a currently amateur pitcher into a rotation 1.5 years after his theoretical draft is crazy

  16. Managers like giving days off before an off day to give a guy ample rest.
  17. wasn't this quote about mcclellin a second ago?
  18. Because Shark was always a better fit for the south side. Just 'cause he was a dirty Indiana boy? That's not fair.

  20. Is it just me or does it look like he's aged a bit over the past few months? A lot of wrinkes around his eyes. He has two very young kids. That'll age you.
  21. the fact he's been to many all star games by this age IS a pretty good indication of how good he is (and how underappreciated)
