Looks like Baez and Alcantara are the busts...does that mean everyone else hits their potential? I'll take it. alcantara was just a last minute addition to the list of prospects. Him not making it in the majors isn't really a bust.

Intentionally whacking a ball out of play and deflecting a ball out of play are handled different in other rules, so I don't see why they couldn't be here. I'm not talking about winding up and golfing a ball 15 feet to the vines. what are you talking about? Intentionally tapping it just right so that you know it will stick (rather than just using that glove to catch the ball?)

not a loophole at all. Knocking it in there is in no way shape or form a good idea since you are not guaranteed it will stick there.

Yes you can. Even when the green has sprouted you can often see it but the rule is the same.

the dumbest thing about this is how there has to be an official inquiry by the ump requesting help from others. also, they never reached in and the fact that it touched them beforehand does not matter.

I think he did but by the time he realized he was screwed he knew he wouldn't get back to 1B before the 1B.

Frustration for me. We all know KB is better than this, especially that piss-poor final swing. He's getting into his own head. dude it's one game he's going to strike out a ton, in or out of his head Thank God someone's here to tell me it's one game. Jesus, a bit of minor frustration in a game thread is not my referendum on Bryant's entire life. well thank god your psychological analysis was there to solve everything.

Even if you do miss him and have absolutely nothing against, why would you be the least bit upset with the super stud now wearing that number? I never understood this thought process. It's not an insult to wear a number somebody wore before you.

Where are you getting that information from? If they were not going to air the Cubs feed then it was because they are not allowed to air it. They wouldn't be able to just decide to show it now. I looked at the MLB EI schedule and the guide on my TV Wednesday. Both showed the Padres feed only. This afternoon the guide showed the Cubs feed, and now I'm watching it. Either the guide and schedule were wrong all along, or someone made a change. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk Those advanced schedules are not always up accurately, but I set mine to record last night and it was on there.
