  1. egg drop soup man, not even a decision edit: and get the crunchy noodle things to put in it, obviously i dunno man. i love me some rangoon. What is that, like a deep fried wonton? i'm a wonton soup fan.
  2. They weren't 7 games over 500 then either. They were 15-15 at one point and not in a playoff spot, they are now 7 games over and in a playoff spot. The offense sucks, the team does not. But I'm trying to tell you, this team won't end up anywhere if it sucks like this. And there is no indication it won't. It's cool if you are choosing to look at the here and now, but this is a big flaw that I don't see going away and it will be our downfall. thanks for telling me
  3. HOLY [expletive] REDS BROADCASTERS GOING ALL ANTI GOVERNMENT BECAUSE PLAYERS GET TAXED ON FREE TICKETS!!!!!!!!
  4. you want them to try and hit a slow roller? You're mad that Rizzo hit the ball hard?

  7. I keep seeing people say this, and yeah, maybe it's bad overall. But we are on the back half of it being bad. Dude, just give me the Brewers offense. This is [expletive] brutal and not every team is this bad. The back half of it being bad, while sitting in a playoff spot. Let's keep talking about how we are a playoff team on July 21 and ignore what we are seeing. You are seeing a team that has struggled to score runs all season long but has remained competitive all season long. I sure as [expletive] don't like that the Cubs struggle to score far too often, but this over-the-top whining when the team is actually pretty good is stupid. Save your whining for when it is justified.

  9. It's actually pretty normal to feel that way if you've been watching a lot of the games. This is brutal viewing and quite boring, but I don't have it in me to ever quit on the Cubs. You don't have it in you to quit on the Cubs while they occupy a playoff position? You saint. http://www.franksfiles.com/sites/default/files/franks_uploads/applause.gif
  10. is there a dead fan in Cincy? Because Thom is obsessed with how scary it is to sit close.

  12. Castro with walks would be so much more tolerable.
  13. looked to be a wide zone inside and out on Castro's K.
  14. dude getting wild, please don't GIDP Starlin
  15. votto peaking at signs from cubs dugout. PEG HIM!!!!!!!
  16. except it's not just a choice you get to make Well there's a bit of strength in numbers on the FA side, plus those aren't the only two options for adding rotation help to an already good rotation. The short version of my point is that Cole Hamels killed my parents and I hate his old stupid face. I am sorry for your loss.
  17. what in the world lol. That has to be a joke, right? Besides being right handed and having the ability to play multiple positions in the infield...sure, why not? Outside of Baez's strikeout issues, he projects to be pretty similar to Machado if he reaches what most of us think he can be right? Great defense, +power and a 270 avg? I seriously doubt "most of us" project him to be similar to Machado.
  18. But his promotion did happen and that disaster did happen. Other big name promotions happened, but other guys kept climbing the ladder and there was a draft and international signings as well. A hell of a lot of people had huge doubts about Baez before his promotion, when he stunk it up even beyond the doubters level of fear, that poked a lot of holes in the hope balloon.
  19. I was hoping the team would be great before they broke up the band but I guess having the team merely be good will suffice.
  20. And then moved out of the infield entirely for the same reason. Was he not moved off of 3B because of Ian Stewart?
