bumpkins refer to any part of a big city as downtown, i've learned over the years this is true Around the NYC area people say "going into the city" but I always heard suburban chicagoans say "going downtown" no matter where they were going inside the city limits.

I'm pretty sure the story was he didn't actually beat the [expletive] out of the guy and the reason why was the guy would not unlock the door and let them out. That being said, there were a lot of other indications he was a scumbag and you should shut your stupid troll mouth.

I ain't no law dog but it seems to me that when something like this happens people are fairly quick to distance the big name from the investigation if they can distance him, rather than allow public sentiment to run away with the story. Or maybe letting that happen is a way to taint a jury pool and get a case moved for thrown out or something.

What was not good about the press conference? I was on the phone during it so I didnt hear but the details make it seem like no news at all. They are gathering info and waiting forensics. It's not new news but it pretty much confirms it is a rape investigation involving Patrick Kane, and, given the fact that Kane or his people have not said otherwise yet, it is directly investigating him.
