    Right. Seems to me to be a procedural thing unrelated to playoff status, but who the hell knows.

    Promising season?????? Yes. He was not a disaster. In fact, he was pretty average (though PFF loves him for whatever reason). It's certainly promising in his first year at the position, considering he was a disaster in the first 3 years in his career. Considering that by all appearances he was headed for early retirement, appearing to be competent is definitely promising, even if uninspiring.

    The Bears go into Detroit as 2.5 point underdogs with a legit shot at reaching .500 thanks to cutlers magic and The arrowhead turf monsters. Should they be dogs against another garbage team? Probably. A decent QB can carve them up. But they could win and despite the draft implications that would be pretty cool. Lose though and hopes go right back in the gutter. They need receivers who can receive.

    islanders have no fanbase. City has a strong Ranger base. Rangers are currently good and exciting. Long term it is probably the right move, but it may take time. Islanders are a good young club.They have a fan base but the Joey buttafuoco's of the world haven't had a good couple decades and aren't moving back to Brooklyn. They fled there generations ago.

    Yeah I guess so. What's your point? People who can't say anything bad about Cutler are just as bad as people who can't say anything good. I've said lots of bad things about cutler, but blaming him for fumbling when the line doesn't block is just dumb. Not as dumb as saying he's not supposed to treat the ball like it's precious. hes supposed to treat the ball like something he can throw far to somebody else, not like something that he has to share possessions with two fatties immediately after the snap, you ninny.
