Outside of August he's been damn good this season. When did I say he wasn't good? Well, saying he's not likely to be used outside of some crazy outlier of a game seems to be implying he's not bringing much value. The playoff rotation only being Arrieta/Lester/Pitching smorgasbord doesn't seem too realistic. You get to submit a new roster for the NLDS you can't expect you know who to know that.

Cubs were leading 7-4 and Arrieta was at 129 pitches when I woke up. Dying to find out how it ends.

I brought up the fact that he is probably the best contact guy on the team, not for any particular situation. In general I'm all for go big or go home guys with lots of Ks and lots of power. But I also think there is plenty of reason to have a couple high contact guys available.
