  1. well I never went past high school and I'm sure this varies for everybody but I only threw a couple at full effort as most were just about getting warm. #pickedofftherightway
  2. amish cardinals fan upset in bleachers, need a gif asap
  3. I expect Lackey to look good early on with short rest, but it should be an issue the 2nd and 3rd time through the lineup.
  4. go suck an egg
  5. http://www.gamervescent.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/futurama_s03e06.jpg
  6. did I mention I got nothing done today and now it is too late and I am just going to sit here doing nothing?
  7. I loved the old men looking at him with disgust.
  8. maybe that is a typo and he wants us to help him name his dong.
  9. [tweet] [/tweet] anybody else just killing time?
  10. Joe wanted him on the team and Theo didn't think he should be?
  11. If you need a guy who hits Lackey well you can always pinch hit with him, and it's not like Hammel is going 8 today.
  12. I absolutely do not understand the thinking in what they did today, sure there may have been a spot to use him if you absolutely had to but the game didn't dictate it at all today. Giving Price more reason to leave in the offseason is good, however, so I approve it. Price looked terrible in his start. In the playoffs, you have to play your hot hand as series can be swung on one game. There's no time to see if someone can work out of their funk. There were only two options for game 5: Price or Stroman, and Stroman looked better than Price in their respective starts. I would go with Stroman too. But why not save Price for Game 5 also, even if you don't want to start him? [tweet] [/tweet]Rosenthal almost seems to imply that part of the reason was to remove any controversy over who should start game 5. But that's loonytunes.
  13. Cutler spent the entire game dodging bullets. Any system that claims to judge solely on the individual's contribution should rate the Bears line very poorly and the Chiefs d line as fairly high.
  14. Starlin's dong tied up the game after Arrieta surrendered 2. That was pretty huge and probably ties Schwarber's HR in Pittsburgh for me.
  15. Why the [expletive] are you so upset for me disagreeing with the sentiment that all they need is a deep threat? I've hated this line for a decade now and have been a big proponent of focusing heavily on it. When people talk about offensive deficiencies on the Bears I think the line is too often overlooked. The pass protection has been garbage forever and its not like they've always made up for it by being amazing run blockers either. The offense will never be great until and unless they actually have a good line. But a deep threat would also help. Hell, any threat would help at this point.
  16. And a line, as well as a homerun threat running back. Cutler has been pretty good of making the most out of a bad line in the past. And even though Bushrod sucks, I think he'll still be an improvement over Leno when he returns. Grasu should also improve with each game. They won't be good, but I have hope for them being serviceable. Forte is still a Top 10 back in this league, so I'm not really worried about his inability to hit football dongs. And as discussed, if Smith is fully healthy he could eventually bring a little big-play ability to the RB position. I guess technically you're right though, since I know that's what you want to hear. I'm not sure how a deep threat could be all they are missing if you can acknowledge that Cutler still has to make magic avoiding the rush due to the weak line.
  17. Playing less than 24 hours after a hammy issue in colder weather seems unlikely to me, but that would be for the best.
