  1. Literally every other ending in my lifetime was worse.

  3. I can't see those two in the same outfield. You'd have to get some sort of superhero in center.

  5. It took Quinneville like three years to make the top 5 longest tenured head coaches in the NHL. A handful of coaches do stick around forever, but NHL GM/owners have very quick trigger fingers with these guys. 19 guys started at their current position in 2013 or more recently. MLB managers don't really do anything. And since very few teams make the playoffs, guys aren't fired just for missing them once, where that happens in the NHL a lot. Any quality organization that misses the playoffs has a great excuse to fire a guy.
  6. He's an old dude with young kids and multiple concussions in his history. I could see it happening.
  7. Ross had a couple brain bruises this year and I could easily see him walking away. I think Montero/Schwarber has real potential.
  8. Where are you seeing that? I agree, there's no way this will be the worst. It may end up being the best, but the best versions of teams don't necessarily get the best results. They should remain competitive for the next 5-7 years. That would be nice.
  9. early line is Vikings -2.5

  11. I tell you what doesn't suck, the first 12 words there. The Cubs made the postseason this year and they have a pretty good shot at making it again next year. They can and should add talent to the roster. They went 4-5 this postseason and that is a bummer but they had a great regular season and a good showing in the postseason.
  12. On the plus side, Torts' system works better in the East. He'll go in and yell at guys to play better. Maybe that's what they need. He's probably a placeholder until they find somebody better. It seems to me every hockey coach is a placeholder. It may be the most disposable head coach position in sports.
  13. Castro just lined a ball 110 mph right at a defender while you were typing this. He was certainly the guy I felt most confident in putting the ball in play with at least some authority, if/when that was the biggest need.
  14. You're better of not watching the Hawks until November. That's true most years. I find hockey in general largely unwatchable until the December/January timeframe. Early season hockey doesn't do it for me, unless I have tickets to a game.
  15. Your time to shine Theo and Jed. Make this team better please.
  16. No Oh he absolutely is. He's useless. Except for all those times he was useful.
  17. Managers don't win. Talent does. If they get more talent they will be good and 'manager antics' wont matter.
  18. Seriously, they were hot as hell in second half. Way too many people don't understand baseball. Yet we were better. Better teams lose baseball games. Welcome to the world.
  19. Every guy that made the third out in an inning has also made an out.
  20. Seriously, they were hot as hell in second half. Way too many people don't understand baseball.
  21. Better than the sorry lot of tapatalk using emo kids in here
  22. Ronny Cedeno for a week or so in 2008. Jake Arrieta
