  1. Truly atrocious coaching staff
  2. Didn’t watch, into listened and some red zone possessions. Did they take a timeout after a touchdown to figure out whether to go for 2?
  3. The line is terrible and none of the RBs are skilled enough to do anything on their own. Swift was a tremendous waste
  4. Waldron is terrible Tom Thayer is a complete moron for questioning why Indy would take a timeout with 1:55 to go in half. NFL teams should automatically do that every time. You only need ~30 seconds to get into FG territory.
  5. If so, we’re well on our way to a 10 loss season and they need to start looking at guys who can replace this front office and coaching staff. Can’t allow Poles to do any more damage. The new guy will get to use Williams for another year and try to fix him then probably draft a new QB in 2026.
  6. Carolina and Bears both lost that trade
  7. It looked very obvious to me that something in the locker room at halftime convinced Waldron he finally had to feature Kmet. Whether it came from Flus, Poles, Kmet, other vets or Williams, who knows. But Waldron intentionally ignored Kmet for the first 6 quarters of the season in favor of his pet project who has been a dud.
  8. He didn’t get a pass until the second half. The second play of the game went to Waldron’s pet project. It is not make believe that Kmet has been an afterthought in the first two games
  9. And he still managed to negatively affect the team with a horrible penalty in crucial situation he was in over Kmet because the OC “trusts” him
  10. I don’t mean to understate the importance of solid veterans around the kids, it’s more about pointing out the awkwardness of this roster construction. They wanted to stop losing on purpose so they got a bunch of vets and overpaid several just because they can. Foligno makes sense as the captain on this roster but the biggest reason is he won’t be around long. Seth Jones also made sense but because he’s going to be here a long time, they really couldn’t give it to him. Most roster predictions I’ve seen have Foligno as the 4th line wing, which has to be somewhat unique. Captains on good teams are generally top 6 guys at least. It’s just another reminder that this isn’t a competitive roster right now and despite splurging in the offseason, the goal is more about being respectable losers rather than exciting winners.
  11. Eberflus revenge game doesn’t do it for you?
  12. Should probably get used to that shrinking coverage area until the bears manage to score a TD each half of play it’s really unwatchable from a national perspective, as it has been for years
  13. Lots of roster predictions going out this week as camp gets set to begin following the various prospect showcases last week. The first preseason game is a week away in Detroit. And today they announce Nick Foligno as the captain. He’s here for two more seasons at an inflated rate as reward for babysitting last season. He’s also predicted by most to be a 4th line guy. Not sure how many teams have 4th line captains, but it can’t be many contenders.
  14. Chicago is a 1.5 point underdog to the Colts in the dome. The wheels have fallen off the offense which looks like a lemon driven off the lot with no test drive before purchase. Let’s hope Waldron has something up his sleeve because this group is not beating anybody straight up on talent alone. The defense might have to score to pull this one off. This game starts a string of 3 straight nooners against mediocre teams before the early morning London game against Jax. They also have 2 months before their first divisional opponent so there is time to fix this mess, regardless of my complete lack of faith in the coaching staff to pull it off.
  15. Philthy Eagles blow it in tremendous fashion. Bad coaching is an epidemic. Hilarious that Andy Reid can’t stop winning super bowls and the Eagles have a coach that can’t handle clock management to save his life
  16. The only thing on this offense I’m not concerned with is DJ Moore. The rest either played poorly or didn’t participate much at all. I don’t know if it’s more Waldron or Fields, but they actively look for ways not to use Kmet.
  17. It had absolutely no chance of being overturned. Unless you think they were just desperate for rest, it’s an inexcusable challenge
  18. #BadChallengeChallenge
  19. The non Kmet Tight ends are so horsefeathers bad
  20. Cole Kmet better get involved
  21. As a self diagnosed sufferer, yes and no. It sucks, and takes time but if you do the recommended treatments it eventually just goes away in a hurry
  22. Is Cole Kmet dead?
  23. They’ve had a lot more than two drives this season
  24. What an awful challenge. Eberflus is so bad at head coaching.
