  1. Suburban living is a scourge on society and it plays out so often in the “i drive drunk cautiously” ignorance
  2. I feel like no trip to Vegas is complete without getting covid at some point
  3. Bears going snake style next draft with the last pick in the first and first pick in the 2nd.
  4. This does not sound like a move they would be interested in making and I wouldn’t blame them.
  5. Drunk driver that was attempting to pass multiple cars
  6. Player eligibility: All skaters who are 22 years old or younger as of Sept. 15, 2024, regardless of how many NHL games they’ve played, are eligible. Player heights and weights are taken from the NHL. A bunch of proven NHL guys on other teams also count. It’s not misleading
  7. the athletic is out with their nhl pipeline rankings. The Blackhawks rank #1, with 17 guys 22 and under who are expected to at least play in NHL games. The #5 sabres have 8 guys and #9 Devils have 7. Bedard still tops the list but the meat of it is guys expected to fill middle 6 and bottom 6 roles. Defense is fairly well taken care of, as long as Arty L makes it. But the glaring need is for more high end scoring talent. It’s almost a given that Davidson is going to have to acquire somebody else’s too expensive forward, either via trade or free agency.
  8. Everyone knew that one was procedural
  9. Despite only getting +145 in this matchup I took it because I’m smrt
  10. Shocking news when you consider the extremely high likelihood that Bagent will be trade before Labor Day
  11. Personally I would not cite Facebook bears pages as “all this talk”, it’s just a bunch of jabronis jabroning.
  12. Where is all this talk? They may be able to trade him eventually but I assume it would have to be after an actual stint where he fills in for Caleb and does well in real games. And I really hope that never happens.
  13. Maybe Robinson will still have a job? from the athletic: Eberflus expects Taylor to rotate with his defensive ends opposite Montez Sweat. DeMarcus Walker has the versatility to bounce inside, and Dominique Robinsonhas impressed the coaches with his improvement this summer, while rookie Austin Booker has flashed often.
  14. Was cool to see his surge until I saw this buzzkill
  15. To guarantee he comes to you
  16. A step above practice squad ability, shows how desperate they are for line help. With multiple new guys coming in you have to think they will be cutting some people who thought they had jobs lined up. Dominique Robinson came in as a long term project but he hasn’t show anything to think he’s developing into a force to my estimation. I assume he’s near the top of the cut list.
  17. Doesn’t say that, dumping Bote was necessary for 40 man. Could still be injury induced move
  18. Mediocre pass rushing depth. Sad to see the 666 truncated but it’s a cost worth paying.
  19. The bears enter week 1 as 4.5 point favorites and dark horse candidates for playoff contention. Most places have their win total at 8.5, which is somewhat remarkable coming off an abysmal season. It’s reasonable, but maybe a little foolish to expect them to be over. Week 1 sets up as a perfect overreaction scenario, no matter the outcome. let’s go bears
  20. The smugness of the “I don’t actually complain about how bad the cubs are every year” crowd is rich
  21. Schrödinger’ back
