    I watched a bit of it last week. WMU is highest rated team left, just ahead of Denver. PSU is lowest, but they are all very close so should be good games. Will be interesting to see if this is Denver’s coach’s last college game(s)

Tortorella will get another head coaching job because the only thing NHL gms like doing more than firing head coaches is hiring well known former head coaches. Hopefully it’s not in Chicago

    Just pointing out our hero coach has a boring ass mayo name Johnson is probably second to only Smith for common surnames, and Ben is just a plain old boring name. I have a small office with three of them. There ain’t a lot of Halas, Belichik, Parcells or, Shulas in the world. at least JJ has the alliteration and nicknamey first name. What I’m saying is he needs to go by Benny, Bengy, Benji, Benjamin or at least BJ if he wants to be remembered. Or win 6 super bowls.

    I think JJ is unique enough even if there is/was a race car driver with a variant of that name. Maybe if Ben went by Benny it would help. Phil Jackson has what, a dozen championships? I think everybody knows which Phil Jackson you speak of when you mention his name. I know there are some writers with that name that used their middle name to stand out.

    Minnesota Gophers basketball version Kind of reminds you what an uphill battle the Bears version faces to go down in history. The only similarly generic sounding name to be remembered as an all time great is probably Bill Walsh, and I’d guess many of the younger generation of NFL fans have no idea who he is. Our Ben may need 4 super bowls

    They did resign their backup long snapper officially replacing Patrick Scales that missed all of last year.

    Seriously? He signed a 2 year $40 million contract because NFL QBs by default make way more than they should just for stepping on the field, once they get past their rookie deal. The dude has lucked into generational wealth without ever actually succeeding at the NFL level.
