Reminds me of a rant I heard about a week ago on NY radio. The host was demanding that Minaya "get some guys in here" to fix the rotation and bullpen, this year. Didn't care where they came from but he had to get guys in here. But he wasn't interested in prospects because you can't trust them. -
I can't think of 8 guys worthy of making this roster.

I always wonder how people can boo a pitcher for giving up ground ball singles. A ground ball right to a fielder and the guy is a hero, a ground ball 10 feet to either side and he's a bum.

But it's not bad, and he said I was hoping he'd do bad. he has to do poorly in order to get down that low Would he? He's at .302... Yes, he'd have to go 0 for the next 6-7 abs and then maintain the pace, which isn't good. But I'd just like to say there shouldn't be any discussion about whether or .299 or .303 batting average is good or bad.

Shouldn't you hope he gets hot and finishes at .320? I was one of the biggest anti-Theriots out there, but this is stupid. Theriot has struggled a lot the past month or two, doing what he did most of last year. But I hope to heck he comes through with a few more magic singles before the end of October because he's a Cub and I want them to do well far more than I want my predictions about him to be right. I'd much rather be wrong about him.
