Hendricks did a great job tonight especially in that inning, kept the damage to 1 run when the wheels could have easily fallen off there. I've been pretty happy with him this year for the most part. It's hard to win a game without scoring runs.

I think Willson gives you a much better at bat there, but I'm trying to stay positive Duke. Everyone has a better AB there; it's still ridiculous to bring up Contreras when he'd barely be playing. I wouldn't be crazy about him being part of a 3 catcher rotation either. I wanted him to be called up for Montero but maybe Joe wanted 3 catchers to begin with and that's why they went with Fedo.

I can answer this as I have this type of personality. It's a defense mechanism, a way to handle disappointing stuff by "expecting" it. Not a good way to go. Dude I'm a Cubs and Buffalo Bills fan. I know the sky is falling thought process, but once I started watching the games without the edge of everything is going wrong I've really started to enjoy sports more than I ever have. But I know where the doom and gloom comes from. Even with that said this team is still on pace for 114 wins this season with a 7 game lead. Enjoy it even when they're not making a mockery of the league. Your right, I'm gonna try to do that. We have 6 more outs to get 4 runs in this one, stranger things have happened.

"Our [expletive]" being optimism about the Cubs winning the game. It's the "oh the Cubs will definantly take the lead in a couple innings" horsefeathers that really bugs me. Like you've not seen this offense go completely asleep

Oh good, weird cub fan who gets happy about cub failures is here It's hilarious that they never post when we are donging teams to death and winning by 7 or 8. Luckily, this team has been good enough that our vinestal and Rondon Fan interactions are more limited. Not true at all, didn't post last night because I had to sleep through that game, had to be up at 3 am (est) for work. I often post in winning game threads, you guys just don't notice until someone calls you on your [expletive]. I hope we manage to score enough to get back into this game but then again it could be a return of the Brewers series offense.

SEE? This is the [expletive] that I'm talking about. Calling a game over when the best team in baseball who has scored the 2nd most runs in baseball and who tied up the game against the closer about 13 hours ago, still has 3 outs to work with? Stupid. Oh yeah, real stupid.
