    I, uh, are you two actually watching the game? I'd be mad if any of my hitters *didn't* approach that at bat the way Soler did I'm watching and didn't have a problem with either of those last two strikes. The last one especially was meat. Strike 3 was high and outside. Maybe you should have your eyes checked.

    I wouldn't call it a long shot (as much as you could call a free agent signing not a long shot). If the hitting thing is serious, it's probably like us, the Dodgers, maybe Giants or Mets, and a random mystery team or two (like maybe the Cardinals decide to finally spend their TV money). Out of those teams, the main one I'd be worried about losing to individually is LA. Yeah the whole LA signs all the major international free agents thing is what I mean by a long shot. It seems like we usually miss out on the big international guys especially when it comes to the Japanese guys. Anything could happen though, we should have tv money coming maybe that will play into their willingness to pony up the money.

    I left work we were winning 8-2, I get home and I'm like wtf happened! Oh well, bullpens will be bullpens sometimes you only win by 2 against a good team I guess.

    The lineup makes me ill. If you don't believe in Soler enough that you are starting Kalish it's time to send Soler to Iowa where at least he can try and figure things out and get some confidence back. Kalish has no business starting in the majors on a competitive team. Terrible lineup. I don't normally question Joe but I don't understand this one. I get that Left handers are hitting Ross better but Im still not getting why you start Kalish. I'd also rather see Baez in the lineup for the defense alone... *sigh* w/e I figured if we were going to lose one it would be tonight.
