    So I spent most of yesterday evening watching the Russell to Baez play over and over... then the damn Pirates won. I hope Schwarber gets a start today. I hope these guys can finish what they couldn't in St Louis. Time for the sweep!

    Oh, thank God I was hoping we'd find another washed up reliever no one else wants to pair with the other washed up reliever no one else wanted. I'm sure Rodney and Soriano will help us win so many games down the stretch. *sigh* :banghead:

    Javy took a walk in his last at bat. Finished 4/4 with a double, 2 singles and a HR. Swing looked great in the couple at bats I watched seemed much more controlled front foot was quiet. He took a big swing at a fastball up and in during the walk at bat and was visibly pissed at himself for having swung at it. Spat at a low and away pitch for ball 4.

    He's a stolen base specialist apparently. I guess they have an eye on him for when rosters expand. Bleacher nation has a piece on him.

    I have a lot more faith in La Stella's bat than in Castro's he will likely get on base and then be stranded there by the next 3 batters over and over. Im not going to miss Motte but Soler being out really sucks. Whats with this team and oblique strains?

    Forget about Contreras.... But yeah we still have a pretty good system. I also really like Chesney Young who most people dont give a 2nd thought to, not much power but the guy can get on base and play all over the place.

    Not happy about Schwarber sitting, Castro/Herrera are just black holes in this lineup. Hope the other guys can score enough runs to win. I don't mind seeing Russell move up in this weaker lineup.

    All of the pitches Javy swung at were strikes if that matters. Almora is 2/2 with a double and a walk, he seems to be putting together some quality at bats lately and is certainly walking more.
