    he's gotta sit corey against the tough lefty lilly Lilly is pitching Thursday? That means he's only going to play in 1 game. If he gets 12 ABs in one games, hits 3 homers, and steals 7 bases, that will be impressive. why won't he play against dempster or z? Oh I thought Hill was pitching Wed. and Lilly Thursday? Okay nevermind. He'll play two games.

    If Patterson puts up those numbers, the Cubs are in trouble because he'll only play in 2 games (and that's not even with knowing who goes for the Cubs Thursday, so it could be 1 game).

    Bruce is where he belongs right now, and Bako (who has a .481 OBP) is on the roster because Ross is hurt. You know better than to cite 10 days worth of stats. Especially when it's Paul Bako and his near .500 OBP. The point really was Bako is only on the team because of injury. I'd rather has Bako as the Reds option behind Ross and Valentin then the likes of Chad Moeller and Ryan Jorgensen like it was last year.

    I doubt that Corey Patterson continues his pace and I am sure Dusty will make enough bad decisions that we won't have to worry about them too much. I doubt Adam Dunn and Edwin Encarnacion continue to hit below .200.

    Funny thing is that Wagner really is right-handed. He only started throwing lefty at age 10 or 11 because he broke his right arm. Jesus, I wish I could just one day start throwing 100mph with my non-dominant arm. Have you actually tried throwing with your non dominant hand... maybe?     Reds up 10-3 on the Brewers. CPatt is 2-4 with 2 2Bs and walk. Dunn 2-2 with his first homer and 3 RBIs Dunn and Encarnacion are 1-2 in the majors in walks. Reds lead the majors in walks as a team. Dusty ball.
