  1. The Iowa announcers? They probably would've said he got called up. Unless, of course, they said that earlier. Hill: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K, 29 pitches EPatt is 2-2 but with a CS and Hoffpauir is 1-1 so far with a walk. The Jaxx trail 1-0 after 4.
  2. Both Sing and Theriot are starting tonight. Hill so far: 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K
  3. Pie starts the game with a 1-0 leadoff triple and scores on Theriot's RBI groundout.
  4. Other Cubs info:
  5. Just saw the collision on Cubs.com and I can't believe Furcal was allowed to run a good two feet inside the base line.
  6. Odds on Dusty putting Marshall back out there?
  7. Was that Cedeno that Pat and Ron were just talking about? Apparently he injured his right middle finger in Cincinnati and that's been hurting his throws.
  8. Thanks, Jon! I found this place at the beginning of the year and finally decided to register. As good of a time as any to start posting. Walker bloop!
  9. Three-year splits (2003-2005) A-Rod: Runners on - .292 .387 .542 RISP - .273 .381 .482 RISP w/ 2 out - .270 .392 .495 Jeter: Runners on - .312 .388 .430 RISP - .288 .380 .405 RISP w/ 2 out - .288 .396 .419 A-Rod's numbers in those situations are significantly better. And Jeter's really aren't anything special.
  10. Mabry hitting 5th confuses and irritates me. Thanks, Bruce.
  11. Thanks, Rocket: http://www.jonmdavis.net/kaspernsbb2.wav
  12. Please watch the language.
  13. That could be said for a lot of hitters last night, including Lee, Barrett, Walker, and Murton. Nobody looked good at all.
  14. Well the Cubs sure looked lost at the plate last night. Just a bad approach even after Lowe left. Swinging early and often usually doesn't work against someone with good movement and bad control.
