    Everything agreed upon. Just waiting on Lee's decision. According to Scott Miller of CBS Sports, the Dodgers and Astros have agreed to a trade for Carlos Lee, pending Lee's approval to waive his no-trade clause. The Dodgers would reportedly take on the rest of Lee's $18.5 million salary for 2012 and send back minor league right-hander Garrett Gould in the deal. Lee has adamantly told the Astros that he will not waive his no-trade clause, but the lure of playing for a contending team in Los Angeles might change that.

    Roto Official =D> Cubs signed OF Jorge Soler to a nine-year, $30 million contract. The deal was finalized Saturday after the Cubs won the bidding for Soler earlier this month. The 20-year-old Cuban defector is expected to begin his career at right field in the minors, but has the potential to play all three outfield spots. Under the new CBA, international signings after Sunday can only be for a maximum of $2.9 million.

    Wow, they're willing to give up a top pitching prospect for Lee? If Lee declines the trade, which it looks like he's going to, we need to get something done if they're willing to hand out top prospects for aging first basemen. Give them LaHair and throw in some cash if you have to. They're farm is pretty stocked with talent, right? Especially pitchers.

    According to the Houston Chronicle's Zachary Levine, Astros GM Jeff Luhnow met with Carlos Lee on Saturday to discuss an impending trade with the Dodgers. An agreement appears to be in place, so it's just a matter of getting his approval. Per FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal, prospect right-hander Garrett Gould is expected to be the "primary return" if the deal is completed. Lee would presumably take over for James Loney as the Dodgers' everyday first baseman.

    I hate being at work and not getting to watch Rizzo batting. He's got me all giddy and excited.

    Unless is some real quality lefty like Cole Hamels, just to give him a day off, you gotta play him every day and show confidence in him and let the man hit. I also don't like starting an entire right handed lineup for the reason of it lets a pitcher zero in on one spot of the plate and get into a groove. With some lefties they will have to make some adjustments and switch things up.

    That Marmol trade Value has gotta be going up a little. It's going to be fun as hell watching Rizzo for years to come. Can't wait for Vitters and Jackson to come along to and watch all these guys play together in The Show.
