    He would be awsome in a cubs uniform and at wrigley..I cant beleive we didnt get him before, because of his defense, Im willing to take his below average defense for his bat... We should trade murton,hill and sumone else for him, screw all our young players, we want a world series caliber team now, and he is one step to getting there... Soriano,Lee,Ramariz, Jones.... That sounds better already... and if we landed someone like, Cabrera or carlos lee also, Id have no doubt wed go all the way

    I think we could get soriano for murton and hill, and sum other no name prospect, I think Hendry is scared to give up his prospects because of what happend to garland and willis, or he just thinks maybe one day in like the year 2016 theyll be called up and be good... He dosent get it,...Were all not waiting for the future... its been 98 years.. the time is NOW...Weve gone through..and after seein the sox win it..I cant beleive he didnt do anything big... If im GM, bam.. id trade for soriano, and try to get Carlos Lee, or a big power hitting left fielder, We would gurantee make it to the playoffs, prolly even the world series...Imagine seein this lineup Pie or Pierre,Cendeno, Soriano, Lee, Rameriez, Lee, and Jones that would be probably be the sickest lineup in all baseball.. We have the 5th most money in baseball and a really deep farm system....But itll never happen Hendry use to be the man when he use to pick up stars.. now he just looks like a bum..and kenny williams is over there picking up stars and about to pick up another star center fielder to make their linep even more potent than it already is... and we have hendry over here sititng iwth his thumb in his mouth

    i wouldnt mind having him in left over murton if the price is right, the guy we really missed out on is Alfonso Soriano, whats he have now 22 HR's?? I dont care if his defense is below average. Hes a monster with that bat, he is one step to gettin to the playoffs...Hendry didnt want to sign him because of his defense... I will take a below average defender with his bat anyday.. Soriano,Lee,Ramierz,Jones that would look reallly nice

    I would trade for sorianos bat anyday, imagine signing him and getting carlos lee in left, there is no doubt we would make it to the world series thatd be the scariest lineup ... Soriano,Lee,Rameirz,Lee,and Jones

    Wow I cant beleive Migi Cabrera is only getting 472,000.. That guy is like a small market Pujols. hes a beast.. WE REALLY need to get him from the Marlins.. That would defineltey be a step to a world series caliber team...Phone HENDRY!!

    i understand jones losing that ball in the sun, almost anyone will lose that.. Nothing was wrong with his throw at the end either.. All the blame go's to Neifi, 2 errors on him in 1 play.. Seriously how do you have a 95 million dollar payroll and have Neifi Perez and Freddy Bynum on the same team and in the lineup together... Thats just really sad... Thanks alot Dusty Neifi Pack your things up, I NEVEr want to see you in a Cubs uniform again!

    We need Mark Cuban to buy the team and clean house like he did with the Mavericks...Atleast the guy would spend some of his money on players unlike the trib

    Well I'm really sick that we have ALOT of money, I think we have the 3rd or 4th most money in baseball??, and we do not spend any of it.. look at our team for god sakes..We have enough money to afford anyone out there.. The Tribune dosent care as long as the lineup looks decent and we average 39,000 people even when we suck...We will NEVER win a world series with them owning the team.. Thats why I think we should bring Cuban in..He would do alot.. look how he brought the mavericks to the team they are now.. He's not going to spend as much money as the Yankees obviously.. but more like the Red Sox... I think he would be great for the team and the city... Get rid of dusty,andy,hendry and everyone else...Its time for a change... I signed the petition to bring Cuban in..     It seems after he punched that loser AJP out, Barrets bat is doing all the talking, a triple and homerun already tonight, hes pretty much been one of the only consistent guys in our lineup, batting .289 right now, thats the highest average in the whole lineup, wow and were bad now, I cant even imgaine how bad it will be when hes suspended... :cry:

    Please keep him down in Iowa or trade him in a package .. The guy just basically sucks...Rusch,hairston,Williams and Neifi need to go...None of them have helped the team at all whatsoever.. and theyve had many many oppritunities

    Jones comes through again with yet another clutch homerun... Sure hes been bad running the bases, but hes stepped up his hitting big time, and clutch hits like that, we have to take it easy on him from now on and stop booing him... lets just hope the cubs dont blow their lead now

    Michael Barret is my hero, hes the only one on the team that shows any heart out there..If theres anyone that needs to get jacked in the face in baseball,its definetley AJP..that guy is just so damn annoying and irritating... Im definetly having a drink tonight for michaels heroics...cheers to u barret

    Our lineup today looked like a AAA team, its pothetic, theres no power or anyone in there thats scary, Burhle went right after us because he knows our offense blows.. Perez,Hairston,and Blanco..woah watch out for those guys..Im so sick perez and hairston, please dump them, even though they wanted to go with the righty lefty matchup i still rather have seen barret behind the plate even though he dosent have the defense blanco has, and i still would put a mabry or jones eventhough they have a bad history agasint burhle, but in the hell are those 3 guys going to do? we got 2 freakin hits today our bench is pothetic dusty blows, and i dont know why our GM hasnt done anything, we have a very deep farm system, and what, the 2 or 3rd most money in all of baseball and thats what we get in the offseason, this is pothetic btw felix pie hit another home run yesterday but theyll just keep him down there till 2012

    whats up guys, this is my first post ever on NSB ,so i thought i would join the party and let my frustration out on Rusch and the rest of the cubs mistakes , the guy is REALLY bad,..he sucks so bad that he could probably suck a golf ball through a garden hose... Its sucks when u have a starter going and u expect to lose that day and you have no confidence in him and have more confidnece in guys liek marshall and guzman.... Hes the estes of '03, and pretty much a ...John Garland.. 1 good year.. and hes a bum the rest of his career...they need to seriously stop giving these guys so many chances.Leaving them way in there way to long...hendry is just to nice ..he thinks they can do a complete 180 out of nowhere.. and gives them way to many chances Example : C. Patterson... we need to bring up the " untouchable " Rich Hill who was untradeable and put him in rotation instead of Rusch.. The good thing they did was sending williams to tripleA , wow ive seen 13 year old girls throw better than that chump.and rusch. also Hairston reallly sucks....get rid of him too.....also im sick of hearin about guys of the future and all that... the future is now..its 98 years, and we have no time to wait..its now or never... thank you all
