  2. Dewitt is such garbage. Just cut his ass off this team already.
  3. Beast...Man,A Lefty duo machine of LaHair and Rizzo would be freakin sweet hitting back to back.
  4. Bite the bullet and release or trade Soriano eating almost all the contract and stick LaHair in LF? It's not like there would be any huge difference defensively between the two.
  5. Cmon Marmol, What the [expletive] is this?
  6. I love watching Garza pitch. I hope they extend him at this point.
  7. Wow..Are you [expletive] kidding me Buckner?
  8. Just hit a sac fly Soriano. That's all we ask of you at the least.
  9. No LaHair and Soriano still in the #4 spot...Oh boy..
  10. Byrd himself confirms it Bruce Levine ‏ @ESPNBruceLevine Follow Marlon Byrd confirms he has been traded to Boston. Deal will be announced after Boston game.
  11. Byrd about to be traded already having huge spark and impact on the team
  12. A trade of Chicago Cubs center fielder Marlon Byrd to the Boston Red Sox appears imminent, a source close to the situation told ESPN Chicago's Bruce Levine. Another source indicated the Cubs will receive a left-handed reliever in return. Shortly before game time against the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday, Byrd said via text message that he had been told nothing about a trade. Byrd was not in the starting lineup, Joe Mather began the game in center. The potential trade was initially reported by Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe, who tweeted a deal was close to being finalized.
  13. Soto and Byrd Black hole...Woohoo....The Byrd-o-meter is now at .059 batting average and a sweet .194 OPS
  14. With that last out, Byrd is now batting a robust .065
  15. Byrd looks so damn old and slow with his swing. Gets on with a routine ground ball error.
  16. Back end of the rotation is fuckin horrible..So is the part of the lineup. We have the depth to make some changes to switch it up, Theo needs to do something soon before it gets even more out of hand.
  17. Does Soto have any value at all? At this point just get whatever you can for him and Byrd. Bring up Castillo to go along with Clevenger and bring up Campana or whoever if your not going to call up Jackson and have them rotate in CF. Nothing can be worse than Byrd at this point.
  18. Mike Quade lineup card? Resting all the hottest hitters. Then we have the black hole at the bottom of the lineup. Ugh.
