    I just don't get it. The Cubs were frustrated by Corey's inability to be a more selective hitter, so naturally they go out and get a more EXPENSIVE, OLDER version of Corey. I just don't get it. I would prefer Burnitz to Jones. Jim Hendry = No Offseason Plan. Again. Of course there was an offseason plan. WE are making our team more Smallball. Good plan. :lol:

    Hahahahahah. Thats actually very strange. CUBS score 5.12 R/G overall.... 8.00 R/G when Marshall pitches Not at all. Why do they ratchet up their scoring for his games? Is it from some unconcious drive to make up for his poor pitching? Is that why whenever Zambrano starts the Cubs put up crap for runs ? They feel too secure in his pitching? Nah...

    \ This is funny because a bunch of people were incredibly happy when Ronny Cedeno did some superfluous celebration when he made that catch in Los Angeles. Yea, its probably fueled by hatred of Neifi, and is a double standard. But you wont see me arguing. He's the 3rd worst hitter in the history of baseball. Thats a bold accomplishment.

    Since Hendry and Baker don't seem to realize that you have to play the best player the fans might as well make it clear to them that he sucks. Maybe it'll give them some motivation to do their jobs right. Neifi came through the clutch and saved our team before. Should we lay off him?

    Lets be serious here, what could the coaching staff do with this current roster of schlubs? Its terrible. The top 3 players on our team are on the DL. What are you supposed to do with that? Time for Todd Walker to be a hero. He better be, because I recently switched him in as my 2b, and i need some goshdarn points!
