  1. Hahhahaah, that was awesome. Brady Quinn dropping fast. And he's still prettier than his girlfriend.
  2. Never as a Bears fan have I been happier with a divisional rivals pick. Thank you, Matt Millen, for guaranteeing your franchise will do nothing for at least 5 more years. Of course, I've said that before and been embarrassed. But i'm pretty sure things wont turn out well for a team that drafts 4 receivers in the first round in 5 years.
  3. Ahhh...the Saturday of draft day. In years past I would get together with my high school buddies and yell and cheer as the Bears made inexplicably horrible/amazing picks, and laugh at my Packer friends for their terrible front office. This year I'm gonna have to watch it alone. Oh well, I'm gonna have to plan a way to wake up exactly at 12 noon so I don't have to wait through any boring build up.
  4. That was one helluva game alright. Biggest win for the Bulls since 1998, no doubt. It really bothered me the night after Game 1 on Jim Rome is burning and someone said: "The Heat just don't have an answer for that Lu Dang, Deng, whatever his name is" YOU SHOULD KNOW HIS NAME! YOU ARE A SPORTS BROADCASTER! All the media prognostication is ended, the Heat is ended, the Bulls moving on to face the Pistons.
  5. Of all the ESPN analysts, I have grown to trust Clayton the most. FWIW. Considering his appearance as some sort of extraterrestrial, I trust his information as well. I'm fine with the Bears standing pat with their picks right now. I don't think they are getting value on Briggs. And if we have to let him sit through training camp and then come back for the regular season, so be it. It may be worth our respect in the eyes of GM's of other NFL Franchises that we will not settle for a trade because we need to make one. Angelo rarely gets ripped off.
  6. Shame I missed much of what proved to be a terribly exciting game. But watching the Bulls put the dagger into the Heat was worth it. (sort of) Still got to see Pie's first (of many) ML Homer. I hope we stick with this lineup for a while now.
  7. Lets all hope that Izzy's partial gaffe on that liner doesn't make up for his "clutch" hit in Lou's eyes. It doesn't help that Theriot was rough around the edges defensively and offensively today. I hope Lou doesn't make an emotional decision and bench him. Excellent win, lets keep it going! Would love to sweep the Cardinals.
  8. Id rather soriano do absolutely something in teh batters box.
  9. And we get punished for Theriot choosing not to get the out at 2nd.
  10. HOW DO WE TURN A 6 POINT LEAD INTO A 6 POINT DEFICIT SO EASILY
  11. Did we just turn it over 5 consecutive times? WHY DO THE BULLS ALWAYS DO THIS
  12. I dislike how Branden Looper is inexplicably good. Thats all, I'll be watching the bulls. P.S. i know he's not on the mound.
  13. We have Marquis on the mound, remember.
  14. Best lineup the Cubs have trotted out in a few years.
  15. You guys need to stop changing your names to ubiquitous first names and/or random Colts players. Seriously, its getting hard to keep track who is who.
  16. Hunter gives them champagne and thats how they repay him? Throwing a ball in the mouth? Unbelievable.
  17. You need different friends/family. When your best friends are the ones that link you to FJM.com and lend you Moneyball, you know they're good people.
  18. I don't think we're all saying you'll be wrong. But we had a series of threads like this all season last year, so there's some comedy in this....even if you didn't mean it to be funny. I remember a thread last year that said "OH man, we only have to win 66% of our games to get back to .500 by september!" Oh wow, thats so easy, only a few historically great teams ever did it before!
  19. The interest in Peterson is kinda worrying/exciting. Although we'd be kinda "wasting" a pick again, could you imagine how good our running game would be with Peterson? (I'm assuming we trade Benson or something)
  20. I really, really want Greg Olsen and then Anthony Gonzalez. Fixed. I'd be surprised if either of those guys are there at 31. I don't think TE is as big of a concern as WR. I'd like to land Jarrett and then Grubbs for OG. Anthony Gonzalez in the first round? I'd be surprised if he went that high, but you know, he is an underrated prospect.
