  1. fangraphs.com Fangraphs assumes every team has a 50-50 chance of winning every game without considering the players abilities. This is false. Sometimes you have to consider other things Like the health of Marmol? I'd prefer he be used in a spot like this than not at all I have no problem with using Marmol when he should be used

For example, even if we get out of this unscathed, we're likely to be facing a well-above-average pitcher in the 9th. What about the 8th inning?

  4. Hell yeah Lets hope that Eyre makes all this talk moot
  5. We're not winning, so Lou refuses to do that. Once it goes to bases loaded, no outs, your odds of winning are 11%. Marmol would be a waste. He can't pitch in every single game that is close between now and the end of the season. Sometimes, you just have to suck it up and go with someone else. I don't know if that is necessarily the best way to gauge using Marmol, the leverage in this situation is enormous, even if our actually chances seem low
  6. Why isn't Marmol coming in HOW CAN YOU MANAGE SO BADLY
  7. yup awful move is cemented by a lead off walk
  8. He better not pitch God damnit Lou is going to make him pitch isn't he
  9. I sneezed and Fontenot is still bad Stop complaining about it, he's Zambrano's inferior with a bat
  10. Fontenot is still terrible guys I dont want to hear any complaining
  11. Zambrano is better than Fontenot so, whatever I'll take it
  12. A DeRosa bomb would be glorious, I'm not sure any other hit would guarantee Soto home
  13. Edmonds you are terrible so something worthwhile
  14. I can't imagine theres a way the imbeciles in the front office will get rid of Edmonds now with Soriano injured, I hate my life He's just sooooooooo bad
  15. has anything been more obvious than the cubs getting shut out today? /hysteria
  16. yo its really time to cut edmonds, no joke
  17. Can we cut Edmonds already? Don't let the Soriano distract you, Hendry, he's still terrible
