    One of the more impressive things about his performance is the relatively low pitchcount for the game, 110 pitches for a complete game no hitter? pretty bad ass

    I don't want to keep jumping on a dead horse here but I am shocked to see Lee's slugging in the .360's Honestly dude? Where did that power go? He was showing it all in April and it never stayed with him.

    Gaudin is a really important piece to this team and its a very big blow that he can't pitch for us. For the third best reliever in the pen I'd much rather go to Gaudin with a proven track record than Samardzija, and I'd much rather never see Howry again. (Which would likely happen if Gaudin is...healthy)

    i read somewhere that his floor is higher than Theriot's ceiling thats odd because we've already seen his floor, and it was the 2006 Experience and it was worse than anything theriot has ever done

    Dear Soul, I know I put in a really depressive, thought out post in the previous game thread. The Bears must have heard me from the heavens and delivered me to the promised land. They probably will be mediocre or worse this year, but that win was very very satisfying. Thanks for hanging in there

    Strike one should have been an obvious ball 3, in his defense. However, a major leaguer SHOULD NOT SWING AT A CURVE IN THE DIRT Kinda reminded me of Sosa he used to swing at sliders 3 feet off the plate and in the dirt. Guess every batter (no matter how good he is) thinks "Oh screw it, I'll just swingat anything that comes now" every once in a while. Not someone like Pujols or Bonds I wish people more had the thought in their head "I'm going to force the pitcher to get me out" like a lot of the best batters think
