I'm pretty sure the problem is that Shark is being Shark. He had only given up 1 earned run in his previous 10 outings (10.1 innings) before tonight. So one bad outing has people saying he is no good? Well I've been skeptical of him all along. I don't see how a guy can go from atrocious in AA to good in the majors in like 2 months. He hasn't looked sharp his last few outings that I've seen.. flaling being in the count a lot. I may be wrong, but I believe they were limiting the pitches he could throw (not pitch count, but types of pitches) early on in the minors and as he moved up, he started throwing more. Raisin or O_O could probably give more info since they pay much more attention to the minors than I do. Didn't he also add a pitch? or at least refine one?
