    i can't take it anymore, the cardinals are the absolute worst in a pennant race they always pull crap like this just lose a game to the best team in the majors DO IT ONCE

    This is a match up that would seem to be a high scoring game so of course it'll be 1-0, 2-1 or something

    I think that'd be about the same, if not better with Soto starting. Well I figured it wouldn't be that good just with losing Soto's bat for Hill's. Although Soto hasn't been that great but still better than Koyie at the plate. Yeah but Soto was the main catcher last year when he could hit and we won a boatload of games

    One of those meaningless things that you just hope some sportswriters doesn't latch on to attack Geovany Soto for. I value the job Koyie has done for the team, and he's a true warrior, but the dude cannot hit at the major league level.

    Another one of those games that feels like 2008 once again Good job guys. Amazing job Randy.

    this still was one of the worst managed games that we've played, and may still haunt us in some regards in terms of taxing the bullpen a bit too much

    The amazing thing is we have more walking wounded at this moment, while we take first place, than at any other point this season. Lilly, Dempster and Geo are out of commission, and we've played a game without Lee because of neck spasms. I hope we can hold onto first and never look back but I expect we'll be up and down in the standings all the way through the end of the season.

    though it was scary that he went 4-5 in his debut, 2 of them were of the infield variety and one was a blooper I'll hold my breath a little, but this doesn't bode well for us at all

    ugh that whole sequence of events sucked it really sucked to see harang go out there and blow past our last two hitters

    Even though I tried to temper my own excitement after the Nationals series I was expecting us to hit a bit better because it looked like Fontenot, Bradley and Soriano were turning around But we're still not scoring many runs. :?: EDIT: hahaha was typing this up decided to send it anyway

    The Royals alternate powder blue is amazing, I dont know if you anti-alternates realized this or not. The Giants cream/off-white is really good and very throwbacky Pretty much anything that seems sort of like a throwback looks amazing to me. Most everything else is too 90's EXTREME (think the NFL Panthers) or doesn't have a good color scheme. The A's have good jerseys too.

    he's really not that bad just notoriously unimpressive and will blow up like 7-10 times a year which i guess is bad anyway whatever

    I'm gonna go with not having any one up in the pen in Game 6 during the 8th inning. We have a winner They should make a new category for Dusty Baker though, he's really a god amongst men

    That hit and run was perhaps the worst decision I've seen a Cubs manager make since I've been baseball aware It makes negative sense

    and his BAA the last three years is like .150. he's so ridiculous when he just throws strikes... or even if he walks 1 man every 2 innings he's amazing. He plays the game against himself. The batter rarely beats him, he really just plays the game against an imaginary dude standing there for a strike zone. He loses this game too much though.

    I'd take most of 2008 Marmol as well

    This year I've not liked a situation where Marmol was counted on to walk less than 2 guys
