I’ve often wondered why pitchers don’t mix an eephus in their repertoire purely because of how insanely off putting it must be to try to hit after seeing pitches 90-100 mph all the time
I would be very upset with this. I don’t like blowing our assets on a year where we’re still trying to get things into place.
if the Bears win 7 or 8 games but the offense is a top half or better unit and Caleb is clearly on the right path, I’m happy. I don’t care if we have the 32nd ranked defense in that situation.
I'm not going to get out of my skis with optimism or have the exceedingly high expectations I had the last few years but I feel very calmly and reasonably confident that Johnson will at least have the offense look like a representative NFL unit
Something we haven't seen since like, 2013
I've only caught up on some highlights but it sounds like Caleb was not all that sharp to start off and they kept the first team in there longer than expected.
I'm glad they did, glad Caleb could end the preseason on a high note.
i dont want to complain too much and anger the baseball gods after what was a very good series, BUT, man the offense is back to being so annoying and frustrating
He's gotten insanely unlucky lately - had a few near misses last series too. Hope a few of them drop for him soon.
As opposed to PCA who is just putting out dreadful at bats mostly
