[/tweet] This is fascinating. Obviously, much of these park numbers are due to the home pitching staff in question (lots of credit to the Cubs staff there) but wow, Safeco allowing the most home runs? Remember when it almost ruined Adrian Beltre's career? So strange. Lots of parks are playing very differently in the past few years.
I can't really hate the Reds or the Brewers. I was able to hate the Pirates for the first time ever last year, because of Hurdle, but that was about it. The Cards are pretty much the only team in the NL Central I can muster up eternal hate for. I got close with the Astros, but they dead
Oh my god Thom Brennamen is on the Score and he's complaining that the Cub fans don't have 'humility' in absolutely destroying the Reds whatever dude get over it
Montero pulling himself above the Mendoza line securely feels good, from an aesthetic standpoint (I'm still agnostic about having him on the playoff roster)
A weighted roll of the dice, i.e. they have almost 3x the chance of an average playoff team, which still, unfortunately due to the structure of the playoffs, doesn't make them favorites against the field or something
