    As someone who grew up in Arlington Heights its extremely weird to think they're actually a possibility to host the Bears. It would be bad and weird, and the """"downtown"""" of Arlington Heights would be totally inappropriate for a pro football team. However I'm sure some property developers are absolutely salivating at the thought. The real thing they should do is demolish the spaceship and rebuild SF to be exactly the same as it was pre-renovations, but with better accommodations.

    I thought we’ve all learned this isn’t a thing. Didn’t we all learn it wasn’t a thing like 15 years ago? Make the playoffs and take a spin on the Playoff Roulette wheel. Of course it could happen. But the chances are slim with a weak rotation that doesn’t throw hard. If you plan on signing the core, go all in. If you aren’t, continue the rebuild and acquire prospects. The chances are slim if you’re the undisputed best team in the league. The playoffs are a crapshoot. Take as many swings at the piñata that you can get.

    I don't care if they are good. They aren't winning the World Series good and if you aren't going to sign Baez or Bryant or Rizzo, trade them all with Kimbrel before July 1. There is good regular season baseball and there is good playoff baseball. Just like when the Cubs beat up on the Mets in 2015 and got hammered in the playoffs because the Mets have better starting pitching. I thought we’ve all learned this isn’t a thing.     Are the Cubs Actually Good? I don’t want to get my hopes up too high but we’re a significant chunk into the season and they keep winning, have the best RD by a significant margin in the division. The Fangraphs projections still have them a big underdog in the division for the rest of the season, which annoys me. It’s too bad they hobbled themselves with the unnecessary payroll shedding in the off season huh.

    Well. This was an important one to get to staunch the bleeding. West coast trips are almost always a bloodbath so you just hope not to lose too much pace in the standings

    I’m so glad the Cubs management decided to give this piece of garbage an extra year of to suck and malign the fan base. 2019 was so much like 2009-2010 it’s crazy
