Not bad. I don't love your top RBs but do like Ellington. Lynch I'm definitely worried about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks! Yeah, there's a lot of "boom or bust" going on with my RB but my hands were tied with some of the keepers being gone coupled with my draft position. I really want to handcuff lynch and foster but I wasn't able to secure their backups in the draft. I didn't anticipate them going so quickly to FF teams who hadn't draft the NFL team's #1 RB.
10 team, PPR league. You could keep two keepers as long as they weren't drafted in the first 3 rounds the previous year. You lose a round above where said keeper was taken. I inherited a team and kept Ben Tate (6th rd forfeit) and Andre Ellington (last round forfeit (waiver pickup in 2013)). QB: Aaron Rodgers WR: Andre Johnson WR: Golden Tate RB: Marshawn Lynch RB: Arian Foster TE: Vernon Davis W/R/T: Ben Tate W/R/T: Maurice Jones-Drew W/R/T: Andre Ellington B: Lamar Miller B: Anquan Boldin B: Ladarius Green B: Kenny Stills B: Ahmad Bradshaw B: Kenny Britt B: Russell Wilson B: Jonathan Dwyer B: Stepfan Taylor Will match-up defenses weekly (probably dropping one of Dwyer/Taylor - Ellington handcuff)
Yes, that is what I managed to do... somehow. Speaking of which, what did he profile as coming out of the draft? I didn't even notice him until rawaction pointed him out earlier today. He was at ECU with Jeff Hoffman. Wasn't in the BA top 500 so it's pretty hard to find any kind of scouting report. Not really any hype around him. Even in Greenville. I'm guessing Theo and Jed liked what they saw when they visited to see Hoffman.
Just shut jaxon down for the year and have Turner take his spots in the rotation. It's not like jaxon is going to build any trade value for this offseason at this rate, anyway.
Finally saw video of Javi's blast. WOW. Man, it's going to be so much fun to watch him tag that sweet, beautiful, expensive scoreboard with his majestic dongers
Yep. Plus, hasn't Theo basically been on record of saying that when the time comes they're fine with being "inefficient" (to a degree) in signing big FA? It's the nature of free agency and they've built the supporting cast to the point that it now "makes sense" given The Plan to start adding those pieces. Even if it's not the most efficient way to spend as possible, it's necessary.
Lester Arrieta Maeda (or McCarthy) Hendricks Turner Trade Wood and Jaxon. AAA depth - Wada/Straily/Doubrant. Stretch out Grimm in AAA for additional depth and options.
I don't know why, but when I saw that staton donger all I could think was, "what if that was October in Wrigley as a Cub". [expletive]. Baez, Almora, Johnson, Vogelbach, - does that get it done? Throw in Vizcaino?
We have a faculty member that is young and charismatic and popular with our female population. Unless it's a special occasion or an important meeting, he pretty much wears shorts year-round because it's academia and nobody really cares. Anyway, at graduation a few years ago I was standing with him in the lobby after the ceremony and congratulating some of our graduates. He saw it an occasion to actually wear slacks. An attractive student and her parents walk over to us and she says, "This is the first time I've EVER seen you with pants on!" I shook my head and looked at the father while his jaw dropped.
