  1. Crazy. I have Ben Tate, too. I think Ellington is actually my no-brainer out of that particular group. I'm going to roll the dice with McFadden and I hope Miller doesn't make me regret it. FWIW, Oakland is still listing MJD as questionable, despite not practicing all week and having the hand procedure. Still doubt he plays.
  2. I'd go with Dalton. Atlanta's D is garbage.
  3. I have 3 of those backs (Ellington, McFadden, Miller) and in a similar predicament. I went with Ellington and McFadden.
  4. Side note: I'm really liking this Fantasy Pro's website: http://www.fantasypros.com/ You can import your team and they give feedback/advice. Some of the features cost money, but a lot is free. They poll a ton of "experts", so it's not just one dude's opinion.
  5. I picked up McFadden as a throw-in earlier this week in a trade. MJD is out for at least a week with surgery on his hand. The Texan's D is good, but susceptible to the run (apparently, as Morris rushed at a 6.5 YPC pace last week). Would anyone choose one of the above over McFadden this week? I'm leaning DM. You're making the right call. Thanks. I'll have to keep an eye on the game if I can. Latavius Murray is pretty athletic and may end up stealing the backfield touches from both DM and MJD before it's all said and done.

  7. OMG Please Please Please :beg:
  8. it's his first offense, so he would get a 6 game suspension, not indefinite. so Goodell couldn't even implement his own policy correctly (the first time he had to implement it) Yeah. But I was replying to Ryne Ween's post that the NFL didn't really "need" to suspend him.
  9. NFL Conduct Policy: http://nfllabor.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/personal-conduct-policy.pdf
  10. The NFL would NEED to suspend him based on their "conduct policy", right?
  11. EDIT: Sorry! Wrong thread.
  12. Anybody a fan of Travis Kelce's potential? I picked him up off waivers and dropped Dwyer (figure even if/when Ellington goes down it will be a tandem of Taylor/Dwyer with neither guy being all that impressive). Thinking about starting him in the flex spot above - thoughts? Is Kelvin Benjamin available? I just grabbed him and dropped Amendola because I like the potential and he already had a good week 1. Nah, but I would love to have him. He was actually drafted by a manager in the league. A lot of the owners are big Panthers fans, so there was already a lot of hype based on KB's preseason.
  13. No good options since some guys are carrying 3-4 TEs. Thanks. Eifert's out for awhile, so he'll at least have no real competition Yeah, that's a good point. Kelce was tempting me, but Gresham's more established. FWIW, Reed's comments after the KC game sound promising that Kelce will get a bigger role in the coming weeks. He's probably not start-worthy right now, but he's got a ton of potential.
  14. He looks like Wayne Arnold from The Wonder Years.

  16. I'm in the same boat with Ellington. Basically have to start him. I'm trying to trade Lamar Miller for Terrence West to handcuff Tate and give me a few starts in the meantime. I don't know if he'll accept, though. Seems somewhat fair to me.
  17. Haha. Yeah. It's pretty terrible. Injury bug has already bit me and the league is really deep. So deep put my ass to sleep. Jeffery would give me a little pause since he didn't finish the game last week. That said, Trestman is saying he's fine so who knows. If they give him a clean bill of health on Friday then I'd probably go with Jeffery.
  18. These are my two QB's, too. Why in the world would you not start Rodgers?
  19. Johnson and Patterson
  20. Joined a league where I inherited the last place team from a year ago. It's a re-draft, but you can keep 2 players (losing a draft pick from one round earlier than when they were taken the year before). I kept Tate and Ellington :banghead:
  21. tfarks - I'd go with Vereen
  22. With Tate's injury, one final flex spot - PPR league 1 of: MJD Lamar Miller Jarrett Boykin Malcolm Floyd
