Oh, Hendry will cut Baker loose. Last year, despite the finish, at least had the "2 seasons in a row over .500" silver lining. This season, if we finish at or below .500, I think a slow start next year means Baker's ass. Sure, Hendry has a lot tied into Baker, but he has a lot tied into this farm system too, and if having Baker around is the difference between Hendry having a job with the Cubs, and having a job at Burger King, Baker is gone.
