You know, I'm liking this idea now that I think about it. You could even expand it to include terminology, a base hit=first down, Pitcher gives up a walk=he got sacked, full count=going for it on fourth down, first pitch=kickoff. When I go to bears games, I usually refer to the QB as the pitcher. Last year it went over pretty well. I don't think any person in their right mind would argue with you.

When I got home from work today, I saw that the game was tied, and I was actually dissapointed that we weren't losing horribly. The next time I looked, it was 8-1, so good job Reds. I mean, if its going to be bad, I want to go down in flames. -
Wear a Bears Jersey, and refer to all Cob players by Bear players names.

Just promise that if a fight ever erupts, and you want to jump in, that you won't go in doing your TKD, because someone will punch you, and you will have no idea what to do, and you will get your ass kicked.

Oh, Hendry will cut Baker loose. Last year, despite the finish, at least had the "2 seasons in a row over .500" silver lining. This season, if we finish at or below .500, I think a slow start next year means Baker's ass. Sure, Hendry has a lot tied into Baker, but he has a lot tied into this farm system too, and if having Baker around is the difference between Hendry having a job with the Cubs, and having a job at Burger King, Baker is gone.

If Pierre and Pie have to be in the same outfield, lets put them in the right places at least. A Giles/Pie/Pierre OF would produce so little power, you might not be able to turn the lights on for a night game. -

For what it's worth, I live in the Cherokee Capital of America, and it's pretty unanimous as far as support for the decision goes around here. For some reason, our local College is called the "Redmen", and it wasnt part of the ban, although another school with the name "Redmen" was banned. I read a quote from the chief saying that he would be in favor of NSU's team name being changed.

Reading comprehension is a skill my friend. :) There probably are some on this board that do know more than Baker about hitting. However, some of the criticism of Baker just gets out of hand and tiresome at times. Don't talk to me about reading comprehension. Actually, dont talk to me until you can point out a post like you described. Or until you admit that you pulled that out of no where.
