Contrary to the hate, these two are ones that have played up to expectations or exceeded expectations this year. They are NOT the problem with this team. So sucky players are only a problem if their suckiness is unexpected? Actually, they don't suck. Yes, on this board they suck, but in reality, they don't. Which reality? the one where getting on base 30% of the time is good. reality bites

His stance looks way different to me, a lot more bend in his knees. I wanted them to move his feet apart, but I'm not sure if they did or not.

Not only was Guillen a victim, he was a multiple victim in ONE GAME. I remember seeing the highlights on Sportscenter, he got caught more than once in the same game, it was hilarious.

Penny gets undervalued a lot, because he doesn't strike out as many people as his stuff suggests he should. His mechanics are a little wonky, but I like him, and he'd be a nice consolation prize if we can't sign Burnett.

Reyes is a little more herky jerky, but the way they both finish is exactly the same. it looked like prior in a cardinals jersey, and that made me sad, but happy for him.

Ronny and Lee for ARod+cash. Sign Konerko. The Yankees are only paying 16 mil a year to ARod, right? If we could get the to eat 3 mil a year of that, his contract would be awesome, instead of a millstone.

Haha, you don't realize the horror that would be Gary Hughes as our GM, which is the likely candidate if Hendry is canned. He'd put Bowden to shame. Someone post that BA roundtable again.

i wouldn't be too upset if they sent him down. but at this point, you might as well see if he has what it takes to compete for a spot in the rotation next year. sending him down to insert rusch into the rotation is pretty pointless. Well, at this point, I agree. If we were still in the thick of it, the decision on what to do with Hill/5th starter is a little more crucial than it is now.

Here we go again. No he didnt say that, but he didn't have to. If you believe Bruce Miles (and who doesn't?), the fact is that Hendry wouldnt have done it. The fact that those words didnt escape his mouth doesn't make it any less ridiculous. -
