It was something Bruce Miles either said on this site, or in one of his articles. I don't have the exact quote on me. It was in the "Deal For Adam Dunn soon" thread. Everyone was wetting their pants about a deal of Hill/Mitre/Patterson for Dunn, and Bruce came in and said that there was no such deal, and that Hendry wouldnt even trade Hill straight up for Dunn. Obviously that doesnt mean that the Reds offered us that deal, but if Bruce said it, I'm pretty much obliged to take him at his word that he knows Hendry wouldnt go for it. Then I guess it shows the original quote was made up. The quote was made up, but the fact that Hendry wouldnt trade Hill for Dunn, straight up is true. Based on what? Based on Bruce Miles saying it. I guess you're calling him a liar then. That was Bruce's opinion at the time, just not a fact or a quote from Hendry. Yeah, Im sure Bruce came over here to pawn off his opinion as fact. Believe what you want.
