My buddy told me that he heard this on AM 1000. I didn't see it posted anywhere on here, so I'm not sure how truthful it is. Please don't kill the messanger if I'm wrong. Would be great as long as it's not Murton, Pie or Hill IMO. A 1-2 of Furcal and Pierre would be among the best. Check the transactions forum, there's a nice big thread on it.

I read that Peterson wanted Zambrano, because he said that he could fix Zambrano's motion and make him unstoppable. Duquette, or whoever, called the Rays, they asked for Kazmir, and the Mets did the deal. Has anyone see Kazmir's motion? If he isnt in Dr Andrews office in the next two years, color me shocked.

Have you fixed your bad mechanics so you won't get injured again? Isn't it Ironic that you joked/took a stab at Steve Stone criticizing your mechanics earlier in the year by saying "Maybe someone can teach me better Mechanics, I don't know", and then later in the year you were shut down YET AGAIN!!? When you go down again next year, will you please stay in the 8th inning, because that's the only way you can actually help this team. Would you please waive your non trade clause to get traded so you don't ruin another one of our chances with your injuries? feel free to use any one of those. . . :roll: why is it that people expect wood to be able to 'fix' his broken mechanics? if his mechanics are bad and are the cause of his injury, complain about the coaching staff failing to fix them, not a guy in his mid 20s w/ no coaching/mechanic fixing experience. it's not like rothschild has the magic key to fix the problem but wood has refused to use it. At $12 million for 2006, I expect this bum to lead the team. I expect more than 14 wins. I expect him to be man enough to change his mechanics in order to fulfill his obligations. Take responsiblity for your previous failures and waive your no-trade clause. No kidding. If we fans who have never played professional baseball can tell he needs to correct his pitching mechanics, then KW should be able to recognize and fix his problem. my first Cub game was a 4-2 (?) win over the Reds in May 2000. Tapani was the starting pitcher, and got the win. I never had so much fun in my life, all of us yelling "COME ON TAP" the whole game. At that point, I had been a Cub fan for over a decade, but that was still so affirming and fun.

IMO the closest to "perfect" players are: ARod, M.Cabrara, and Pujols. Great hitters and very good on defense. The rest have their goods and bads and you determine if that will help your team or not. Add David Wright to that list if you're going to put Miggy on there. I've seen Wright play quite often and I want to give him a couple of years before he makes my top 5. I love watching him play and he is going to be a major star no doubt about it but I think Miggy is a better hitter and that sways me a little more than the excellent defense Wright plays. I want Wright to make the basic plays better too and once he does then we'll see.
