  1. Mocking your post count. And before I get into trouble, I am obviously in no way a mod (though I should be). Stop directing traffic. God, how much do you love me? Please stop posting in this thread, for the good of us all. ps actually don't, this whole thing will just be deleted later, so have at it. I wonder if those posts will get taken off your post count? I'd hate for these last 30 minutes of your life to have been wasted.

  3. hot? With what? He's down around Ronny Cedeno territory in average, but with less power What are you doing online? Go do a sim, buddy, before I come looking for you.
  4. If you aren't going to be serious, then I'm done here. I thought we were having a detailed statistical conversation here. You're the one who jacked the thread by telling me to "move on." You're not a moderator. I actually finished second in the public vote for moderator back in 2001, and I'm assistant regional moderator at the moment, so move on. I haven't done anything to prompt moving on. A moderator wouldn't be calling someone out for posting "7000" times. You're the one who started an argument here. I come to this site because I like it, it makes no sense to discourage posting. I can't believe I'm still going on about this. You were attempting a serious argument on a topic where one wasn't needed. Much like I'm doing here, apparently. I'm just saying, there's no reason to argue with someone who thinks that two crappy players will hit a home run before Lee. It's like arguing with someone who says "Dude, Where's My Car" is his favorite movie. Who cares? Again, move on, this is stupid. (I'm only posting so I can keep up with your post count.)

  7. Was the guy trying to "prove" anything? Not everything someone says on this website needs detailed analysis. Move on. Are you directing traffic on this message board? You're the one looking for an argument. If someone makes a point I have every right to disagree and if you don't like it you don't have to read it. You really want to keep talking about this? You hit triple digits today in posts, a new personal best! You can disagree with someone's post all you want, but it only makes you look stupid if you pick a dumb one to argue. It's not like the guy is making some deep philosophical post on the state of the Cubs front office or something, he said he thinks two crappy players will hit home runs before Lee does, it was just hyperbole and it's definitely not worth your consternation. But then again, you didn't get to 7,000 posts in 2 weeks by not posting.

  9. That has nothing to do with how many he will hit this season. Neither does the rest of the thread. Why does it matter when he hits a homer? He's still hitting well and that's all that matters. This is overblown. What does that have to do with what gflore said? Comparing him to Juan Pierre or David Eckstein is ridiculous. Even if both of those guys hit homers tomorrow it wouldn't prove that Lee can't hit home runs. No one compared him to them, give me a break. Someone said he thinks they will hit a HR before he does. That's not even close to the same thing. Then why name two extremely light hitters? You give me a break. Because it's more dramatic than naming two average hitters? I mean, how many name players in the league don't have a HR already? You're just looking for an argument, and you picked a dumb one. Move on.

  11. The good news is that Miller will still have a position in the major leagues, albeit it one as the Home Run Derby pitcher.
  12. I'm really anticipating Lee's first home run of the year. The wait just makes it better.
  13. Pujols will probably end up as the best player of all-time, but for this season, he should shut the *bleep* up until he gets over the Mendoza line. We can talk crap about Marquis, you can't. ----- edited by Tim Apparently, I need to fix the word censors...
  14. Read the Touch em All blog.
  15. Is Charlie Manuel in your league? Ben Sheets on the waiver wire?
  16. i thought this was going to be a thread stating that your wife just had a child, and you're teaching/abusing him to be a cardinal fan instead, its proof that there is no god
  17. Hamels would make a great lefty compliment to Myers.
  18. Is there really such a thing as a "starter only prospect"?
  19. After today, by my rough addition, subtraction, multiplication and some division, it looks like Hill, Lilly, Marquis are combining for this line. How in the hell? 6-3 1.75ERA 62K 22BB 72IP
  20. I love Felix Pie. I'm not afraid to say it. He gets incredible jumps out there.
