That has nothing to do with how many he will hit this season. Neither does the rest of the thread. Why does it matter when he hits a homer? He's still hitting well and that's all that matters. This is overblown. What does that have to do with what gflore said? Comparing him to Juan Pierre or David Eckstein is ridiculous. Even if both of those guys hit homers tomorrow it wouldn't prove that Lee can't hit home runs. No one compared him to them, give me a break. Someone said he thinks they will hit a HR before he does. That's not even close to the same thing. Then why name two extremely light hitters? You give me a break. Because it's more dramatic than naming two average hitters? I mean, how many name players in the league don't have a HR already? You're just looking for an argument, and you picked a dumb one. Move on.

Pujols will probably end up as the best player of all-time, but for this season, he should shut the *bleep* up until he gets over the Mendoza line. We can talk crap about Marquis, you can't. ----- edited by Tim Apparently, I need to fix the word censors...
i thought this was going to be a thread stating that your wife just had a child, and you're teaching/abusing him to be a cardinal fan instead, its proof that there is no god
After today, by my rough addition, subtraction, multiplication and some division, it looks like Hill, Lilly, Marquis are combining for this line. How in the hell? 6-3 1.75ERA 62K 22BB 72IP
BOOOOOOOOOO sure, a-rod will hit a game winning homerun against the orioles' and the indians' of the world. but in fenway, against the red sox, when it really counts, he's a gutless choking dog And you're being generous calling that hit a "line out." It was a weakly hit flare the second baseman could have caught in his mouth. Gutless choking dog is right. He's an ARod apologist         :?: should i have put more eyerolls?
