  1. Despite the subjectiveness of "best outfield arm", the article is about 2007 performance. He had the same number of baserunner kills as Francoeur, in less opportunities, but if you say so. Are you actually saying you agree that Cuddyer had the best RF arm in baseball last year? Are you actually able to type out words but not read them?
  2. guys whatever there are children DYING right now. think of the children, down with roberts.
  3. so no league then?
  4. So this is or isnt getting made into a league? If it is, count me in.
  5. i'd like to see all emoticons erased, actually.
  6. Buerhle could have gotten them 2-3 cornerstone prospects alone. that's insane. or you and i have different definitions of "cornerstone." May I suggest you look at some of the offers the Orioles are considering for Bedard and tell me the White Sox couldn't get the same offer (or better) for Buerhle. why would they get a better offer for buerhle? i haven't seen any offers for bedard that include 2-3 cornerstone prospects. feel free to throw a few at me. The rumors that I have seen have mentioned these names: Seattle: Adam Jones, Jeff Clement, Wladamir Balentin, Young Chin-Chen,Tillman, Sherrill Cincinati: Joey Votto, Homer Bailey, Johnny Cueto Dodgers: Kemp, Broxton, Kershaw, Meloan,Hu, LaRoche, McDonald Mets: Gomez, Heilman, Humber I think you can find a package there that would include 2-3 cornerstone prospects. Buerhle is a better pitcher than Bedard and would probably bring in a few more interested teams. Did you get into Yeti's stash again?
  7. bet you guys didnt know the winning prize was dance lessons with devin hester did you
  8. There's also the thing about how Bedard is good, too.
  9. Hey Carrie, Everyone says that we need a new shortstop, but what about Theriot? We won more games than we lost when he was in the lineup. I think he really adds a spark. Sort of like our Eckstein. Has Cubs management mentioned anything?
  10. i don't understand the idea of hating on a system that rewards teams for not losing in a short season and then advocating a system that kicks a team out that loses one game in a shorter season. because the system in the season that sucks right now is trying to put just 2 teams in the championship. look at it right now. osu is probably the 6th or 7th best team in the nation. if you have an 8 team format, then you wont have any huge glaring omissions...like the best team, USC. Oh, I get it. Yeah, I totally agree.

  14. uhh yes, isn't everyone? You can say "we had a good year" and "dag nabbit we didn't win a national title" at the same time. you guys will figure this out if you can somehow put back-to-back good seasons together (in 2030 maybe lol) i guess it depends on the expectations of the team. i dont think florida atlantic is too bummed out that they didnt win it all this year. and i think we can put back to back good seasons together by 2025 or so. yeah, you guys are FAU, take it slow at first hopefully we can land that elusive Sun Belt championship next year lol imagine mizzouri winning a conference championship

  16. uhh yes, isn't everyone? You can say "we had a good year" and "dammit we didn't win a national title" at the same time. you guys will figure this out if you can somehow put back-to-back good seasons together (in 2030 maybe lol)
  17. for the record, i drove to arkansas to watch the game with my razorback loving family and it was extremely satisfying but still, cotton bowl lol
  18. not meaningless. third one is pretty true. what i meant was meaningless if you have ever been good before
  19. a winning season meaningless bowl game daniel is fat
  20. cotton bowl win nation doesn't care must defend
  21. mizzou education
  22. gotta defend my team man every day every second every post ill be there defending my team bros we havent been in a bowl that wasn't in the month of november in our schools history and god damn if someone is going to take that away from me wait i think someone is talking about mizzouri on the imdb boards gotta go
  23. they should play their offensive players on defense. also, i had to listen to the game on the radio, and one of the guys kept calling Henne "Henning". The sidelines guy did nothing but stammer and interrupt the announcers. it was fantastic.
  24. USC is better than OK, and we all know how well Mizzou fared against OK. No they arent. USC healthy at home is better than OK. USC is probably the best team in the nation when healthy. Without a doubt. Anyway, you know those stories about guys who come into a lot of money and then go crazy because they aren't used to it and they buy [expletive] crap and blow it all? That's how I feel about MIzzouri fans. "WE WERE GOOD HOLY CRAP WE'RE THE BEST WE'RE THE BEST BOWL GAMES BABY TAKE ON DA WORLD"
  25. arkansas scores 50 on lsu, scores 7 against missouri, who got dominated by OU twice. I think we all know what this means. But Colorado beat OU and Alabama beat Colorado and UL Monroe beat Alabama so: UL Monroe > Oklahoma those were flukes shut up
