If I'm not mistaken, everyone hates Theriot anyway and nobody was fond of Soriano batting 2nd. yeah. and if we used your lineup this game, we still would have lost. the cubs didn't lose because of the lineup, they lost because they couldn't get a hit for the 1st 8 innings. I didn't see we lost because of the lineup, but obviously Theriot can't leadoff and Soriano can't mentally (not to mention he shouldn't anyway) bat 2nd. what mental difference do you think soriano needs to go under to be a successful no. 2 hitter

He was a starter. He wasn't good. He's filthy out of the pen. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. He was 23 years old. He was a great starter in the minors. You realize that we are an injury away from a 3-4-5 of Dempster, Marquis and Lieber, right?
