did you see palmer and reece james? palmer was aghast, clearly said "what is he doing?" while trump was prancing around on stage. I think Reece James said something like "when is he leaving" lol. i was pretty excited about that win and what it possibly means for chelsea this next campaign but seeing that piece of horsefeathers on stage with the trophy really took the wind out of my sails lol

saw a thing that said both tatum and halliburton tore their right achilles, which isnt as necessary for a right handed player as their left achilles. KD tore his right achilles and outside of what im sure was an awful rehab process during a missed year, was more than fine afterward. but maybe dame is dead who knows

Achilles tears have always been thought of as career altering, but KD tore his achilles in the playoffs in the exact same way (in his mid 30s), missed a year and came back and might have even gotten more efficient. I think Tatum, Halli and Dame (we'll see I guess based on age, maybe he's the outlier) will come back fine. The bigger problem is that they're all max guys and their teams have to go a year without them and will all look different by the time they're back. I think the pacers are destined to lose Turner (he was awful all series so not sure if that matters) and nesmith before halliburton comes back. Rosters change so quickly in the nba that one burnt year can really kill you.

Pete is on pace for the second-best season by fWAR the cubs have had in 30 years. better than KB's MVP season, better than Sammy's MVP season. It would trail only Sammy's 2001 - 64 bombs and a .328/.437/.737 slash lol
