    for real though i do think a good amount of the "league's gone" guys are just fans of bad teams that aren't doing it right yet. Like yeah, if I had to watch the suns play for 82 games, i think i'd be like this horsefeathers sucks man too.

    I think the impact on spacing of removing the corner 3 would be disastrous and far too impactful to just suddenly deploy in a single offseason

    i do think they need to possibly do something about the 3s, though i have no idea what that might be and anythin they actually do might end up massively backfiring. But you look at a guy like Anthony Edwards. Physically the most dominant guard since jordan (or i guess lebron if you expand that definition a little.) He can jump higher than anyone, can go through anyone. Has insane body control. But he shot like 14 3s a game this year because he's also a lights out shooter and those are just better, easier shots. Feels like if your league is built in a way that you turn dominique wilkins into reggie miller, there's a problem.

    10-15 years ago everyone was complaining that their teams didnt play like the spurs. now almost every team tries to emulate that style of passing and off-ball movement and everyone's mad lol

    this is crazy. im probably spoiled i guess because okc does everything well (including hoist 3s) but basketball today is so much better than in any other era. I get aesthetically maybe not liking all the 3s but these guys make them. It's crazy how much talent there is in the league. You could add 4 more teams and not really feel it.

    im sorry but there's just no way at his size that he's going to be anything beyond below average at best at 3b. i now understand why they bid on bregman. im willing to die on this hill. your 3b should not be the same size as my 9 year old

    Austin Jackson is an example of exactly why these FOs are so hesitant to pay players beyond their rookie deals (which we all agree are wildly underpaid.) He came up at 23 and put up almost 15 WAR in his first four years. Young, athletic, little bit of power, good defender. Then he did nothing for 5 years and was out of the league, not because of Disney or whatever, but because there's lots of guys who can put up half a win in the outfield. You can swing a dead cat in AAA and hit an austin jackson.

    i dont know about you guys but a playoff run/chance at a world series+comp pick is way more valuable (and fun!) than half a year of tucker and someones 8th best prospect.
