  1. reyes is too volatile right now to effectively gauge his value....that goes for both the mets and any team trying to acquire him
  2. still totally confused why people are looking at SS for replacements the one guy that doesnt have an albatross contract, is consistent, and doesnt have an injury record....and you want to get rid of him and please spare me the range comments, we already know
  3. Why you guys would willingly give up Theriot is beyond me. He's no savior at SS, but he's not the problem either. Focus your attention on 2B, while leaving Theriot out of it imo. Personally I'd like to see a defensive oriented 2B, but that's just me.
  4. I don't care what anyone says, Geo is absolutely huge this year compared to last. Big guy is right.
  5. Me too. I love Milton. Really.
  6. Thanks for the enlightenment there.
  7. :good:
  8. Hill has done the job even worse, and he got rewarded for it. One could also say that Soto has played far, far below expectations, and Hill has been exceeding them. The pitchers and players have also made comments about enjoying games where Koyie's behind the plate. Is that all nonsense?
  9. So you don't want us to use stats that prove you wrong? Pretty much. Can't anything be said for benching a player that (obviously) did not bring his best effort this year? Is that not a good example to set for a (supposedly) winning franchise?
  10. I refuse to get into a slapping duel with the Soto homers on here, but this move didn't come soon enough. Hill's outplayed Soto all year. Spare me the OPS+, please. Get Soto's head on straight, make him play winter ball, etc etc, and we'll see him behind the plate on opening day '10. There's just..ugh...there's no purpose in his plump self being out there right now .
  11. where's that excitement from milton been all year
  12. no, its more like a cherry on a [expletive] sundae

  14. Impossible. He has what, 35 RBI's? Come on.
  15. So why are we still watching the game? Can someone tell me that? edit - SO sick of Z. Seriously just so sick and tired of Z. He's a #3.
  16. I get home from my first night class of the semester, as if that isn't bad enough, and turn on a 15-5 pasting BY THE NATINALS. REALLY!?
  17. Yea, anyone who says they expected the production he's had this year is a liar. I know people wanted Dunn, or Abreu....but none of us wanted Ibanez.
  18. Unbelievable. Seven K's in a row at one point.
  19. I saw him hit two homer's in the Lilly rehab game. Looks great.
