  1. HA HA HA HA Sorry Chuck... I don't even remember what I offered Tim, but it wasn't as "out there" as his counter, which was really "way out there!" BTW, I love you too Tim!
  2. This may be the year I finally fall short of the championship game. :( Time to unload Pujols for an 8th round pick!
  3. The only thing is that I have no clue how many different teams would even be available. I'm not sure how early MLB teams may have gone to direct deposit. True. I'd keep my eye out for one of them, though. It would be pretty cool to have a check from all his different teams.
  4. You did end up getting that! That's sweet! Now you have to get a set. NYY, Tor, Houston................... that would be nice.
  5. FIXED!
  6. your after-the-fact prediction success rate is alarmingly high. I think that Manny Ramirez is gonna have a Heck of a career! And Bonds may just end up breaking Aaron's HR recond!
  7. http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h230/cbbryan1/Charlie/?action=view&current=1178431050.pbw Charlie's home and doing well, guys! He's gaining about 1 oz. a day. He enjoys sitting and watching the Cubs games! LOL!
  8. I may be the only one here, but I really had high hopes for Cedeno. I hate to see him struggle the way he has. Hopefully, he'll work hard to get himself on track down in the minors. I'd like to see him have some success. As far as Pie, I think he's shown that he'll be fine at this level. He looks very natural in CF. I think he's hands down the best defensive OF on the team. His offense will come around. He seems to be a very streaky hitter at all levels. I'm VERY excited to be able to watch him in Chicago.
  9. Gotta love my hitters thus far today: 13-26, 2B, 2 HR, 5 RBI, 8 R, 5 BB, 5 KO, 20 TB With my two starts today, I may have a 90 pt day.

    Week 4

White Sox come back late vs KC and give Jenks the save opp. that pulls me within 3 pts before deductions!!!!! Even starts the rest of the way. My bullpen has really kept me in some games so far this year.

    Week 4

No such luck! Harang scores nearly more then both opposing starts combined. At least Cabrera is playing this week. BTW, I moved Iwamura to the DL and activated Matsui to the U spot.

    Week 4

Yep, if we both win.....4 way tie in the division. I'm bitter about this past game. Why bitter? A rivalry stewin'....................... BTW, I thought you may have had me on Saturday. My team always tanks against Sanitizers though. I'll have to have a closed door meeting with my team.

    Week 3

I benched Cabrera due to injury and replaced him w/ Iwamura, or whatever his name is. I also benched Zambrano and moved in Ortiz to get my 7th start for the week. Should be interesting. Raw has 3 starts on Saturday to my 0. Then I have 3 starts on Sunday to his 0. If I can just keep it really close on Saturday I'll feel really good about my chances.
  14. Wouldn't the Cubs trade for a SS before C? I don't know why they would need a 3rd C, it doesn't make much sense. I don't know much about the teams that were stated as far as their farm systems, but I would look SS not C.

Yeah, I'm hoping he gets back from the torso deal. Otherwise, I may have to make a move. I'm up by alittle, but you have a 1 game start advantage for the week. Will be close like usual.

    Week 3

We normally have pretty good match-ups! You're off to the quick 4-0 lead already.
  17. LOL! I hadn't thought about his affect on my name! LOL! Thanks again guys! He and mom continue to well!
  18. Charles Bryan Jr. arrived April 13, 2007 at 7PM. He weighed in at a mighty 3lbs. 13 oz. and 15 3/4 inches long. He's doing wonderful!! Breathing on his own with no oxygen needed, already suckeling (sp?). Mom's groggy and still hopped up on drugs, but she's doing well also! Here's a pic! http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h230/cbbryan1/DSC00831.jpg

    Week 2

If you had told me this morning that I'd get a combined 8 innings and 11 ER from Z and Harang................................ [-(
  20. My wife has successfully survived over 3 weeks of bed rest!!! The doctors scheduled the c-section for Monday, April 16 at 2:30PM. I'll be sure to let you guys know the status. Chuck
  21. Yeah, the bullpen has really suprised me. I thought Demp would continue to stink and he's actually been pretty good. At the same time, I didn't put much thought into Eyre/Howry, I thought they would be solid. That Howry AB today was brutal. I thought he had the K two pitches before the HR.

    Um, nothing! Sorry  LOL!

    Week 2

After bragging that I was high in points and being called milk by Tim, I held on for a win. Alot closer then I thought it would be.
  24. Or south to San Diego. :D I'm planning on going out to SD this summer. My uncle runs some restraunts in Cali and lives in SD. He wants my family to come out there and spend a week..........maybe go over to Las Vegas and lose alittle money while we're out there.
