  1. I came on here to see if everyone else was noticing that. Bob needs to chill out on Pie.
  2. Hey Prince, http://youtube.com/watch?v=jnFAuoksxlk
  3. Hey Brewers: http:// http://youtube.com/watch?v=jnFAuoksxlk Soto=Warrior
  4. Yeah, especially with his superior defense. I wouldn't mind Theriot starting like 1/3 of the games until he starts to really suck, but Cedeno has been money.
  5. I just can't take St. Louis seriously. I'm glad they've beat the Reds the past 2 nights cause the Reds' talent makes me a bit uncomfortable. I can see them going on a crazy streak even with Dusty as the manager. The Cardinals are just completely and utterly awful...I just won't believe it.
  6. 217 pitches for the Brewers....I like it. 71 for McClung, 43 for Turnbow. Hopefully this game continues to help us.
  7. 71 pitches for McClung may come back to help us again down the road.
  8. Seriously, Lou. v.s. Suppan Ronny Cedeno .444 .545 .778 1.323 Ryan Theriot .273 .273 .364 .637
  9. If by Chicago area you mean the Western hemisphere.
  10. Better bring him into bases loaded situations. Lou's handling of the bullpen tonight was awful and he has to take his share of the blame. I was only following the game on gameday, but it seemed clear that Hart didn't have it tonight, but he was trotted out for a second inning. Marshall apparently can only face lefties even though he was a successful starter. Wuertz was brought in with the bases loaded and 1 out even though he's been struggling with control. Lou Yost'ed this one.
  11. Results-oriented thinking is tempting, but the move was right or wrong regardless of Marquis' performance tonight. What about results-oriented thinking, as in, the usual result of Marquis pitching is bad.
  12. Which bothers you more: having your testicals catch on fire or eating a sandwich?
  13. Yeah, if I knew they were going to lose beforehand, that would take all the fun out of it.
  14. Ha ha!! I love AFV playing at the beginning.
  15. I wonder if Sheet's arm will fall off or if he'll dominate us.
  16. what has happened to him? Same thing as Carl Pavano and Jason Schmidt. He signed a huge guaranteed contract, realised he was set for life, and said to hell with it. Exactly. They were just like, "now that I have money, I'll injure my arm."
  17. You=completely wrong Derosa=good utility man fixed. ZIIIING!
  18. Yah, I know, rite? At least we'll probably get the #1 draft pick next year.
  19. Murton in LF, Cedeno at SS, DeRosa at 2B, Theriot in Peoria.
  20. That's the lineup I was going to post, except for maybe switching DeRosa and Soto. I like the idea of Soto batting 6th because there'd always be runners on for him, but I also like having him bat 2nd because of his sexy OBP and to get him more AB's.
  21. Were you watching on gameday or something? Only one was hit on the ground. The other was a line drive and both of them were smoked. What do you mean they were hit softly? They were hit hard. Where does it say anything about them getting hit softly? I see adjectives like "line drive" and "smoked" Read the two messages I replied to back to back and maybe you'll figure it out.
  22. Were you watching on gameday or something? Only one was hit on the ground. The other was a line drive and both of them were smoked. What do you mean they were hit softly? They were hit hard.
  23. Why are people still acting like Hill is struggling?
  24. Theriot is white hot right now. Can we at least curb the hate until he cools down? I don't think it's hate to say Cedeno/DeRosa/Johnson is better than Theriot/Fontenot/DeRosa. It's just the facts. If Theriot is the hot hand, he should play until he's not hot anymore. Whatever gives us the best chance of winning. But Cedeno is just as hot. I think it would be awesome to go: Johnson (only cause it's a lefty and apparently he's done well against him) Fukudome Lee Ramirez Soto DeRosa Murton Cedeno It won't happen, but that's what I'd like to see.
  25. And his second half of 2006, and his beginning of 2008. He's been very good for awhile now. He had one bad (not terrible) start and all of a sudden he's Sean Marshall...Wait, that's not a good analogy, Marshall is good, too.
