what he said how do you suggest freeing ronny? Giving him starts in CF instead of Johnson, giving him some starts at SS to keep Theriot from wearing down and crashing like last year, giving him some spot starts at 2B.

Says you. says most rational and mature people everywhere So now you're trying to say that you're mature? But anyway, if Edmonds was still good, him being a Cub would still take some getting used to. The fact that he is so far past his prime makes the fact that I don't like him so much worse. Not liking him isn't the primary reason I hate the move, but its an insult to injury type thing. His crapiness really highlights the disdain.

Man, there are a lot of horrible arguments to defend Lou/Hendry. The Cubs have a good record, Lou and Hendry try hard, rabble rabble rabble. -
Lou isn't even consistent with his own stupidity anymore.

Do you have faith in the cubs to do that? I think they give Edmonds every chance to succeed. In other words, much more than 10 ballgames. Well, Iowa is in a tight division race right now. Pie, Marshall, Hill, Murton, Ascanio, Hart, Cotts. That's quite a list of players I'd rather have on the 25 man roster than players that are currently on it. (Murton instead of Johnson, and they could use Cedeno/Fukudome as back up CF. Ascanio, Hart, Cotts instead of Fox.)

Very nice not putting Edmonds with the Cubs. I think that needs to be a tradition. Can I get a 2nd?
