He is as impressive as Johnson is unimpressive. He is huge though, that shot he took off the face looked like it stung a little. Adu and Altidore need to be up just so Johnson won't be.

I could careless what he does. The Cubs are 2.5 out of the Wild Card and in 2nd and 3.5 out of the division. I hope he crushes the Brewers, but outside of that he is just a side show to our vastly more important Chicago Cubs. Imagine him breaking the record the same year the Cubs win the WS. He will be secondary for the rest of his life in terms of what the fans remember.

I remember Zambrano doing the fist pump after catching a soft line drive off a long battle with Bonds, but odn't remember Prior. I remember Prior taunting him and begging him to charge the mound. Ok, now I think I remember that. Hard to remember many of Prior's starts now a days.

Any idea what his PC and balls/strikes count were? Not sure, but I did read that while the double was hit hard, the RBI single was a blooper that found a hole. Really curious to what his velocity was at. At least he didn't walk anyone.

If the price is right I would easily take a shot on Grienke. Anyone who wanted Josh Hamilton should want Grienke as well. -
Does Kendall have a video camera? He can afford one off that insane contract.

Can't wait until they play Celtic FC. Heh. Another reason we need to get our entire u-20 team over in Europe. Not to mention they would stand to make a little cash just for Adu and Altidore.

Dontrelle Willis' availability

I'm not that interested in Dontrelle, but he does have that "star" power that others seem to be interested in. Maybe we could get involved in a 3-way deal to get something that we need. The basics might include: Marlins send Dontrelle to the Reds Cubs send Marshall, Jones, prospect to Marlins Reds send Griffey to the Cubs With a little tinkering with other names and/or money, Is this a possibility? They will probably want Veal, Marshall, and a prospect. They will overvalue him, and being one of the limited pitchers available they will get more than he is worth. As much as I hate him I would rather try to trade for Matt Morris and see if the Giants would eat some of his salary for some prospects. -
Looking into a potential post season lineup and rotation do you think it is more important right now to get another bat, or to find a #2/3 starter? Right now in a 5 game series Zambrano then Lilly looks ok, but after that I don't feel to great about anyone. If Hill gets hot then its an easy choice and our rotation looks great, but tough to really rely on.
