    That would definitely be worth the price of admission. You know I'm there. Adults-only game threads, I might shell out for that. if Tim made an adult-only section available for Premium subscribers I bet a ton more people would sign up Drunken Yeti as the mod :-).

    I'm expecting 10 wins and I am expecting to see a lot more of Marion Barber who I think could really have a breakthrough year. The article putting them at 6-10 is just stupid. I think the Eagles right now are the team to beat, but this is the NFC and there is not much stability.

    I agree that he is not the biggest problem. But people were on Marquis when he signed and predicting he would suck, and everytime he sucks it becomes an "I told you so" type atmosphere.

    Karl Ravach predicted the Cubs would have the biggest lead in the NL come the end of August of any division leader. These are the potential cracks that could lead to that prediction :-).

    If they add another good two starters they are going to be real good in about 2 years.

    no way... '03 and '04 were better, but the '00, '02, '06 teams were complete trash ('06 probably was the worst) and the '01 team was sammy sosa and a bunch of other guys. EDIT - '05 team was just mediocre, not complete trash. This is the best team ever. Just keep believing!!! Nice to see Wood running out on the field with the team :-)

    Not necessarly a really bad team. They have been playing better baseball. I still agree on your comment that Buddy is an awful awful manager. They are a whole lot better than last year.

    12 runs total so far in on 9 hits in Milwaukee. Hopefully that Brewer bullpen will take a hit today :-).

    Hopefully Cuban has a nice two year FA budget/plan :-). Assuming Z is resigned I know he will have no problem going out and recruiting. Potential Playoff Rotation Game 1: Santana Game 2: Zambrano Game 3: who gives a damn Game 4: Santana Game 5: Zambrano The bidding war will be nasty just between Moreno and whoever else wants him. I'm more than willing to bet he will not want to be outbid on this one.

    16.7% of all the homeruns Rich Hill has ever given up at the major league were hit by the current Phillies. how 'bout getting that snapper back and not rolling the curve up there in this one Rich. Hopefully he will be able to just take 100 pitches beyond the 5th inning.

    Wow, 3 night games in a row. Due to Moyer being very old, a lefty, and not being able to crack 90 on the gun I am a little worried.

    When Marquis and Hill are pitching, its a pretty big need. Getting more than 5 innings out of them is becoming a real stretch. If you can't add a real impact in the OF, then I don't mind anymore. Almost changed my tune in 24 hours. Having a complete shutdown bullpen in the playoffs is a huge plus. Especially if we have to face Peavy and Young twice in a 5 game series.
